An 11-year-old Halo fan has accidentally killed himself in an apparent attempt to recreate scenes from the game. Joshua Nimm had skipped school and was apparently playing Halo before using the .22 rifle as a prop in a recreation of the game when he apparently shot himself in the head by accident. The gun's magazine had been removed, but there was still a round left in the chamber. Police and paramedics responded, but the boy was pronounced dead 35 minutes after their arrival. The blame has been placed on weapon control, but this incident will likely provide another argument against violent games.
