... Is it just me, or is Frank O'Connor an acute egomaniac? Consistently, in every form of Halo media (comics, novels, guides... etc.), his name goes first in the "special thanks" section. I find this extremely frustrating as he has proven himself, on numerous occasions, to have a shockingly low lack of knowledge (and respect) for the Halo universe... even stooping as low as to call the freaking Bumblebee Escape Pod a "Pelican." I mean, seriously... WTF?! Ever since his name went first on that absolutely ungodly book the "Halo: Encyclopedia" (4 errors per page, average), I have had a mild disgust for this man. But honestly, he seems to love the fame. Doesn't anyone remember? He made the crappy "Midnight at the Heart of Midlothian" and continued to commission "One" to make an animated comic out of the thing before anyone else... And whose name goes first there? His. He is consistently the man who answers questions in the Halo interviews, and any mild fan of Halo can be nauseated by his complete lack of knowledge, and then when he released that canonical crap "Halo: Legends," introducing nearly ten new dead Spartans that canonically never should have existed (and even worse, a Spartan who has the service tag "303" out of the possible numbers between 1 and 150). Even though he didn't write a word of the scripts and obviously didn't help animate the things, and all he did was screw up the canon more than he already has, his name goes where? First. Again. He also gets to do the commentary. In short, I don't understand why Frank O'Connor hasn't been fired from 343 Industries and why other people allow him in indulge in his narcissism actively for years and years. I hate him.
