They're somewhere offradar in the atmosphere I believe. Only saw piece of the inside and under it in ODST. Don't think there are good pics. Just use your imagination
Posted by: BenignPick7 They drop out of a UNSC frigate, because in ODST they dropped out of the UNSC Say My Name.
That was a cruiser...
Posted by: ArBit3R 818 There's no such thing YOU -blam!- JOKER!!!!! ASAFHEUJYETKDEHNUWR TNJHSF! Seriously, there i9s no such thing. That defeats the whole idea of a Drop Pod, when they could just drop in from a ship. The closest thing you can get to a drop-ship, is a Frigate or Cruiser and it's Drop-Stations.
You did not have to be rude, all he did was ask a question.
Posted by: Dragon1Dom ODST's enter the atmosphere of a planet/ring world (haha :P) "feet first" as they say. In other words, in a SOEIV aka a drop pod. For general operations I would presume they would use a standard pelican. Sorry If this has been explained earlier.
In Soviet Halo, ODST drop pod :?D [Edited on 07.28.2011 12:59 PM PDT]

It was kinda like a giant space research and refueling/armament station. Sorta looks like this: http://tinyurl.com/yb8bujq
This is over used and i like this song you bastard!

A pelican, because there is no ODST specific dropship. A pelican is the all purpose dropship used to transport regular troops, ODST, and Spartans alike. There's drop pods that are launched from frigates if you literally mean the "drop" in dropship. [Edited on 07.28.2011 12:32 PM PDT]

Most UNSC ships can drop ODSTs, so just make anything that looks vaguely like a UNSC ship.
