Funny inside names for Halo things.
I was just thinking about how my wife, friends and I have given our own names to certain items in the Halo universe and was curious about other community members' funny names for things. For example my wife and brother-in-law couldn't remember the name of the Spartan Laser in H3 and were confusing its name with the new Man Cannons so they kept calling it the Man Gun. A friend of ours was frustrated with Armor Lockers when Reach came out so he deemed it Defensive -blam!-ion. Also, after the Action Sack gametype, the Concussion Rifle is now the Dino Blaster. What are yours? PS I didn't realize I couldn't say the M-word.

Those are coming from the mouth of a friend who is new to halo, and had just started Reach a month ago: Plasma Grenade = Sticky Greande. Assault Rifle = Machine Gun. Magnum = Pistol. Warthog = Buggy.

Plasma pistol is the green gun, getting hit by the overcharge then headshot is 'being green-gunned'. Gravity hammer is The Bat. Shotgun is shotty, of course. Sniper is long-arm. Grenade launcher is the Hype Pipe.
