Why did S-239 (emile) never take his helmet off...?
i think itz because hes a demolitions expert also known as a sapper this is because if you go to the armory in reach and look for the assualt/sapper chest and read the description it says "sappers are equally at home building great things as they are BLOWING THEM UP" hints the name demolition because of his chest plate and big knife so i bielive he was on a demolition mission and had an accident with the fuses on the explosives and the bomb detonated leaving him with severe head injury or even worse a prostetic head ...sounds stupid right so anyways because of the immense head injuries he decided that he would feel better kepping his helmet on and not show his battle wound and thats probably why he carved that half skull into his visor...
by the way this is just a thought...

your theorie seems a bit far fetched. emile seems like the type of person who would take pride in a battle scar and try to show it off every cahnce he got

ya i their is a place called the Noble Team Memorial or something in the game that it shows the faces but the guy only showed emiles but it could be fake

[/quote] You do realize that Emile isn't real, right? He doesn't have any horrible injuries unless Bungie (or 343, now) says he does. Wait a second....did you say a prosthetic head?
