This article has me worried that loli/shota is banned in my country, because I have no idea if it is.
As a last resort I can always destroy my hard drive.
What do you think of this man's imprisonment?
Posted by: Comrade Napoleon I'm on the fence about drawings, but IRL loli deserves to be illegal and the penalty should be death.
Undoubtedly, just like people should be jailed for committing murder, but not for watching a movie in which people are murdered
-
Lolicon actually isn't banned in America. Ironically, however, CP isn't either. I know CP is illegal, but I'm not too sure about Loli.
Posted by: wolfbuzz I was going to mention that there exists no substantial connection between looking at pornographic material and an increased likelihood of acting on one's desires, but after Googling a bit, it would appear as though there is a link between -blam!- and increased perpetuation of -blam!- desires. Meaning... a law that bans CP-like material makes sense.
So I guess there goes ever watching a movie or playing a game ever again that depicts an illegal activity . . .
-
I'm a fan of Guro.

It's illegal to have of Manga pics depicting illustrations of child [mating]... sure... Better this than real-life children getting [you know]... And what if you draw a pic of a guy killing someone? Do you then also get charged with attempted murder? I guess: only in America, [mate] yea? [Edited on 07.06.2011 7:27 AM PDT]
Posted by: Econo Troll 3
Posted by: Locke357 I'm not into that, but personally I think there's HUGE difference between pr0n involving children too young to consent, and FICTIONAL drawings.
Could your neighbor go to jail because he watched a murder movie? After all, only sickos watch Saw films and it'll make them kill.
Last night I saw my neighbor watch a youtube video of someone smoking pot! He was watching an illegal act performed and therefore should go to jail.
Posted by: Locke357 I'm not into that, but personally I think there's HUGE difference between pr0n involving children too young to consent, and FICTIONAL drawings.
Exactly. As long as they keep to the fake drawings and don't actually creep on little kids then whatever. Though I can see how loli could lead to a visit from p.edo bear.
Posted by: Locke357 I'm not into that, but personally I think there's HUGE difference between pr0n involving children too young to consent, and FICTIONAL drawings.
This is my point - I'm also worried about how far authorities could take and bend this law eventually. Could your neighbor go to jail because he watched a murder movie? After all, only sickos watch Saw films and it'll make them kill.

It's illegal here in Canada as our child -blam!- laws state that child -blam!- is, "'a visual representation, whether or not it was made by electronic or mechanical means', that 'shows a person who is or is depicted as being under the age of eighteen years and is engaged in or is depicted as engaged in explicit -blam!- activity', or 'the dominant characteristic of which is the depiction, for a -blam!- purpose, of a -blam!- organ or the -blam!- region of a person under the age of eighteen years.'" I don't really see why it should be allowed either.
Posted by: Teh Vault Boy If drawn pr0n is considered pr0n, as such, shouldn't loli be considered CP? It meets the same basic criteria: pr0nographic depictions of children.
We've already been over this. CP is illegal because child porno actors are considered a violation of the child's rights. Drawing loli doesn't violate anybody's rights and it doesn't create a demand for CP either.
Posted by: Teh Vault Boy If drawn pr0n is considered pr0n, as such, shouldn't loli be considered CP? It meets the same basic criteria: pr0nographic depictions of children.
CP is not illegal because of its pornographic content, it is illegal because of the child involved. No child is harmed in the making of this content. If your son drew pictures of boobs - do you want him jailed for possessing -blam!-?
-
How can you people try to justify CP or the depiction of CP in any medium for any reason!? You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Posted by: Teh Vault Boy If you're attracted to such drawings, are you not attracted to the contents of the drawings, i.e. children? As such, are the drawings fueling any desire, or just sort of "sating" any desire?
That doesn't warrant an arrest. I watch films depicting murder all the time, yet I'm not a closet psychopath.
Posted by: Teh Vault Boy I mean, sure, it's not "real" CP, but it's still a form of -blam!- involving children.
Now you're arguing from a moral standpoint, then why isn't rape porn illegal?
Posted by: Teh Vault Boy For instance, if someone was making racist remarks about black people ,with no black people around, is that racism? It's not exercising any form of discrimination, but it's still derogatory.
That's a straw-man, drawing loli isn't the same as filming CP.

it's considered CP... so yes

Which is then not -blam!-
To an outside viewer, the action looks and seems like rhape. Yet, no actors were harmed in the filming as you said, it is consentual. However, who is harmed with drawings of child pr0nz? Same as above - no one.

Should they be sent to prison? No. Should they be sent to a psychologist? Yes.

I did a Google search and "deleted" almost everything in my Music Playlists folder.
