Halo 4 weapons,multiplayer,campaign theory **must read.**
ever considered the fact that there are literally no humans on this planet and that there may be little stockpile of human weapon on the ship if that ship blew up so how can there be human weapons in the game. i bet no one noticed that.
i have a strong bet that there will be only alien weapon that you can use unless the unsc are already there which is likely not.
Now about multiplayer remember we may have something totally different in this game as its new and there is a chance firefight will have a major upgrade.
The campaign well ill combine it with the teaser trailer. Noticed how Chief's armour has changed some say its art reason but according to some sources there is a certain reason. how well lets look at the teaser trailer ever noticed how chief goes through multiple rooms full of equipment that look like they are used for building or mending.
Also the teaser trailer may actually be about midgame so there may be missions on the ship before the point the teaser trailer takes place. Example being flood forms landing on the ship and chief having to kill them. Gets injured by some new form but successfully vanquishes it. Due to his injury cortana has to use the equipment above to fix the chiefs armour and possibly upgrade it. Remember there may be floods on the surface on the planet like on some forerunner shield planets. Also maybe some also got through the portal
Also if anyone wonder where the energy is coming from to make this work they got to wonder how the cryo tubes are working this might mean that the engine is still intact and working but the ship thrusters are not. And if you consider how cortana is able to be in the ship she has to be fuelled by a engine to be able to work for that long.
Last note if you notice the rooms that the chief goes through you may notice that it looks as if the ship is still functional on operation basis not for flying but for getting little things done.
Also another thing notice the pattern when the campaign is played first you fight the normal enemy which is the covenant then you have to defeat the darker enemy the flood. Now the flood are the normal enemy so there is going to be a new enemy that you will fight who we dont know and it is not the sentinels.
also if there are humans they will be either be oni or innies as these are the only two groups that will likely be this far off. also the unsc are not going to be there as well as the main covenant group because they are busy trying to fix their empires and reconstruct their planets. also if there are covenants around there it will be likely to be some small group of elites or loyalist with a prophet. As these might be trying to join the great journey or are trying to escape the elites.
another thing why the ship was exploding is maybe because of the sentinels.

It's possible for covies to return in this. 1) One of the Halo 4 wallpapers had a covie style hexagon pattern over the 4. 2) Alot of covies either where already on the halo rings (i04 + i05) or they can mobilise really fast. They could do it again. The elites left the covies? Halo 3 seemed to work without elite as main enemies. The high prophets were all killed? It's possible a war between pre-stationed elites and brutes broke out on the forerunner planet. And there's no reason for elites to side with humans again as the high prophets are dead and the rings are not being fired. Jackals were hired as mercenaries (waypoint video) for the covies, but they could reappear as their own faction due to greed. With an abundance of weapons, forerunner tech, etc. on this planet then they could go salvaging. Grunts may be more cowardly again similar to halo 1, but if the elites/brutes are their then grunts have no choice cos I doubt they can steal a cruiser and flee. Drones and skirmishers probably won't return. Flood may return or not. This would be based heavily on the story than gameplay. Human weaponry HAVE to reappear. For multiplayer's sake and for the campaign's sake. Because we know about the handheld explosive launcher, so the entire human weaponry wouldn't consist of that... just no. That said. There's probably less human weapons in the campaign so it's more likely that you'll run out of ammo and be forced to use the newer forerunner/covie/??? weapons. /wall of text

Yes, ONI is on a planet where the Forerunners are and they haven't even noticed. That isn't a gaping plot hole at all.

you know another thing i have a feeling they may need to change firefight and the multiplayer if there are no covies in the game. maybe this game will be totally different from a bungie halo. i just have that feeling

Well, he must have a good Assault Rifle since it's one of the original weapons, might have a good pistol too, but for gameplay and balance issues all other weapons (BR/DMR) could be scrapped for balanced counter parts.

What if that thing was like the Death Star and it was heading towards Earth or some other alien planets? Then the UNSC and some aliens (Forerunners maybe?) had to fight it and whoever controls it?

Because Dr. Halsey, Mendez, and the other Spartans made it through that portal, didn't they? To the actual shield world.

This is something I've been thinking about since the end of Halo 3. I'd like to see a fresh set of weapons and vehicles. Everything new. That would really spice up Halo.

There may be some flashbacks to other missions Chief was on, or to Spartan training.

Wow, I am surprised I did not think of this. You might only see human weapons in the first couple levels. Maybe only the first level.

also if the unsc are there that means there are forerunner weapons but remember the trailer only says there are weapons on the ship. so any mission on the ship and around and close by the ship which is likely due to the ship crashing will cause weapons to spread around the battlefield

I believe there will be human weapons. He did use a new pistol grenade launcher thing in the teaser. I doubt the dawn's armory will be sufficient enough for an entire game so I believe the story will go like this: John wakes up and enters LP. He learns about the new evil. Slipspace travels to UNSC territory where -blam!- is going down. Commence asskickery.
