An Ideal Lego Halo games! reply if you agree Please

My Son Evan had a great ideal that Bungie should team up with the people that create the Lego video games and make the halo games in Lego game format have an online game play option as they have with the halo games now. I am sure it would be a huge hit with the kids and the parents who want them to play halo only it is too violent for the younger kids. The Lego games don't offer online game play. Please reply if you agree, maybe if we get enough they will do it. [Edited on 07.02.2011 4:24 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: gcorle I will end with this, if you are a kid or have kids under the age of 13 you would probably agree that the concept is a good one a would be very profitable. Thank you for your response good or bad I hope I have not offended anyone too much good night all.
Oh gosh no, that's the main reasons of a Forum: to debate things. Goodnight.

 •
Posted by: gcorle I agree about call of duty. Yes I know for sure they like the Lego games they play them almost as much.
If you really like the idea of Lego Halo, you should email Tt games and 343 industries. As I said earlier, most fans of Halo play the actual games themselves, so they probably wouldn't bother picking up Lego Halo, which aside from from the fact the Megablocks have a part in Halo, is one of the main reasons they aren't making one. •
Posted by: gcorle You did not answer the question about where you got the information on age of players yet?
Ohhh. Right. I'm just making an educated guess based on people I know that play Halo. My main point is that most of the people that are fans of Halo are already playing the actual games themselves.

 •
Posted by: gcorle In Star Wars they destroyed a whole inhabited planet mainly just to test a weapon. Also Anakin turning to the dark side killing a bunch of kids then losing his arms and legs. No contest in my eyes.
How about completely rendering 800 planets completely useless and barren just for the sole fact of killing humanity? No more animals, not even an atmosphere is left due to Glassing. Let's not even get started about the Flood. I would like to point out that all of the stuff you mentioned is shown in popular Star Wars media, so I do respect and completely 100% understand your reasoning. [Edited on 07.02.2011 7:29 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: gcorle May I ask how you know the demographics of Halo players? Im not saying your wrong, rather inquiring where you got your information.
Halo has an incredibly large story line that spans over 100,000 years featured in books, games, comics, and short movies. In terms of Multiplayer, it's just you, your friends kicking back and having harmless fun. Also, if you play one of the story line (Campaign) modes in a single Halo game, most of this stuff I mentioned isn't known. [Edited on 07.02.2011 7:24 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: gcorle If you are referring to the dark nature of the story, that did not stop the Lego games from creating the Star Wars or the Indiana Jones versions of the games. Star Wars get darker than Halo in my option. Please remember this is a concept, I have not written any story lines or anything.
I don't know about you, but at least the Rebels had a good chance. Do you want to know how many Humans are left after the Human-Covenant war is over? 200 Million. I'm sure you also know that 200 million people is only 2/3's of the current population of the United Sates of America. I'm sure you haven't even heard of Glassing either? At least the Empire took prisoners, and lets the civilians on the planets they conquer live... [Edited on 07.02.2011 7:20 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: gcorle I did say that my seven year old came up with the concept and it appeals to him and his age group. They would be the target audience. So the ideal for me is selfless and for kids not adults so please keep that in mind when replying.
And you know for a fact that him and his friends like it? Even if 343 industries actually starts work on said 'Lego Halo', by the time the game is finished, your son and his friends will most likely be swept up with Call of Duty, which you could say is even worse than Halo, because it depicts the USA under attack and invasion.

 •
Posted by: gcorle How well is the Lego games doing do you? so they to keep the Lego imagination
wut? Anyway, sure why not. I just don't think it would be as successful as you think it would be. Also it will never happen because Mega Bloks owns the right. Why wouldn't he want more regular Halo games over Lego Halo games? However, another forum poster raised a good question. What about the story? [Edited on 07.02.2011 7:12 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: gcorle I do not know? How well is the Lego games doing do you? They keep coming out with more games. I agree it is inferior to Halo that is why they need both teams to create it, so they to keep the Lego imagination with the Halo graphics and online and gaming capabilities. Open your mind and try to think like a kid.
The sad truth about Halo, is that the majority of it's fan's are over 10 years old. Also, it sounds to me as if your asking for Halo: Reach remade with a Lego art style. IMHO, that doesn't make the game really any worse. In fact, you could say it makes it gorier because every time each character dies, it explodes into square chunks.

 • As to not go off topic from the Forum, how would comedic Lego figures not break canon? Or how would the stroy fit in? One of the main reasons people buy Halo games isn't just for the multiplayer, it's for the expansion in the storyline. [Edited on 07.02.2011 7:03 PM PDT]

 • What appeals to you (you as in gcorle) in the concept of a Halo Lego game? Why should they make a Lego Halo game? It would literally serve no purpose except give over protective parents a substitute. Can you provide another reason? Can you provide a reason they should make a Lego Halo game instead of just making regular Halo games? I don't want to start a flame war. I just want some explanation for your idea.

 •
Posted by: gcorle Why would it look bad for them if the game created is rated E?
It's not bad, it's just that the game would be extremely different from the game your son's friends are sharing stories about.

 • Also, if he starts playing other M games if you let him play Halo, put the boot down and take away Halo completely until he is of age.

 • Oh by the way. If it makes you feel any better, i started Halo at age seven. Just let him play the game. If your scared he will be scarred, look up Gears of War, Mortal Kombat, Dead Space 2, God of war, and Left 4 Dead on Youtube or something.

 • Rising children can be very confusing at times, all you can do is your best and make every effort to raise them to be good productive members of society. Who can say for certain that kids would not stop playing the Real Halo for Lego Halo I tend to agree with you beside, I do not dare suggest that, no one would create a game to take customers from a game like Halo which is doing so well. That would be crazy. As for my logic not everything is black and white and has perfect logic in it. There is a spirit or intention here to provide a version that is more age appropriate for kids who love both Halo and Lego games. I have clearly posted this ideal in the wrong forum as it is apparent by the majority of responses that there are too many people here with weakened imaginations and can not understand the core concept and spirit of the ideal. At no point did I say it would be a substitute for the halo games rather it could be viewed as a positive alternate option for the more responsible or conservative parents. Also I never said I do or do not let my child play Halo. That is something you have concluded on your own. If you can not understand the logic here than please just move on, this concept may be way above your abilities and I am sorry for that. The question is do you support the ideal or not? Not lets analyze this until it get so convoluted that the core ideal is lost. It really is not that complicated.

 • To be honest, I think it would look bad for Tt if they teamed up with a developer that creates M games. [Edited on 07.02.2011 6:50 PM PDT]
