Stumbled across this through a gaming website I reguarly visit,

Again from jesss:
people from each city are going to different locations within the cities and retrieving boxes that have a lock on them. The boxes have "HUMAN PRESERVATION PROJECT" printed on them, and in the box is a closed tube thingy with one of the flies that when plugged in, lights up blue/aqua. i'm thinking the next big thing that happens will be when every city is completed.

Lols we're not gonna figure much more out right now... I agree that it definitely -could- be connected to Halo 4. An idea that I had is that 5gum is just trying to get there name out there by having it be used as a launching pad for the ARG, obviously that gets them in news when people start talking about it. I'd expect that tomorrow we shall know more, but I agree a LOT of it seems to indicate MORE than just 5gum. That said people did find the links to the websites in ads for 5gum, I went and read some articles, and that makes me think that it could be connected to 5gum more (or again just a launching point...we shall see) (that said of the sites were talking about the re-activation of the ILB timer and talking about how it counts down to 5 years from now...but well it's been running...and it counts down to 571 years or so from now...so again be careful about your sources...)
