If it looks rushed, it's because it was. I had some other stuff to paint today. Sorry D:
Tomorrow is Oni, and hopefully I'll have all day to work on it.
Posted by: Halo biggest fan The painting style is strange, but cool
I'm trying to teach myself how to paint under stress, and failing miserably at it. I think I'll just focus on making one super polished painting for July 7th and give up on this whole one painting a day thing.

Photoshop CS5 using 90% custom brushes.

Think what you will, but I really enjoy the Headless painting. If I were to be all artsy, I'd say it does a good job of not capturing a realistic (i.e. as seen in the game) view of the monster, but rather rendering it as an expression of the dreaming god's mind as it slumbers beneath the pyramid in PiD. At lengths this is more 'accurate' to the game and it's portrayal of the monsters. Very well done.
Posted by: I Lucky Punk what medium(s) do you use?
I'm interested as well. Do tell. The work looks digital, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. [Edited on 07.01.2011 1:39 AM PDT]
