HALO a metaphor for ISLAM
Think about it. We are a seemingly "innocent people" (aka united states) finding and settling a distant place (Reach) and finding an artifact that the religious fanatics (Islam) obsess over to the extents of Grunts "suicide bombers" to fight for their piece back. Anyone else think about this and any other similarities.

I know that this board topic is close, if not over the line, topic-wise, but Bungie should have expected this alagory by making the bad guy alien dudes in their games "religious." To base Islam on a small portion of it's population(the extreme radical branch) is quite wrong. I am not a muslim, however, as a christian I am stereo-typed all the time "So you think you're better than everyone?" ect. I was simply pointing out the OP's view on a small group within a much larger and quite peaceful organization/religion. That being said, people vary so much person to person that simply labeling them into a group or one mind-set is to me, narrow minded. Also my last post was mostly based upon sarcasm.
