What Means Dust and Echoes?
I was wondering what Dust and Echoes means.
At the end of Halo CE, Cortana says: "Scanning, just Dust and Echoes....". Is Dust and Echoes a pelican squad or just Dust And Echoes?

Lieutenant Ekoz was a good soldier...Father, George D. Ekoz from Reach, mother Anechka Federova from Harvest... he stayed alive after the battle for Halo by hiding in one of the Library's venting systems as the installation was destroyed. Forerunner components kept the piece of Halo in which he was hiding in sustainable atmosphere. Which was why only he survived.

Ahh yes, Dustin Echoes. Still drifting amongst the stars. Gone but not forgotten.

Nothing to look into here. Just dust and echoes is literally bits of dust and echoing sound waves from the explosion. The Chief and Cortana did what they had to do...for Earth.
