[url/=http://www.halopedian.com/HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL_Mark_I_Prototype_Exoskeleton]This is awesome. I'm sure many of you will agree, however, some of you might also agree that this would be rediculous in halo. We have the Sabre though and that's pretty cool. I think that having the exoskeleton as a campaign only-one-level event would be pretty cool. Thoughts?

The Big Daddy of Halo.
-
Japanese style unrealistic overpowered/fast moving robotech/gundam/armored core mech suits do not belong in an American made Sci-Fi Epic. If they really had these, they would've won the war. BattleTech/Mechwarrior on the other hand...
-
But it had to be plugged in at all times to power it, not very practical.
Posted by: JoshCube It's also a magic sword.
To be technical, I would hardly call Hrunting a "magic" sword. It was cursed because Unferth killed his own kin with it. The sword also failed against Grendel's mother. Wow, come to think of it, Hrunting is a terrible symbol to use for a weapon. What the hell was that director thinking!? They should have used Mystletainn, sword of Hromundr. At least it had a curse-free history.

But anwyays, chances are his armor in the halo 4 trailer won't really be his armor in the released version of the game. Why do I say this? Because it's going around that the trailer's armor was only to test CGI FX and PLUS in halo ce anniversary for the first trailer they shown an assault rifle from reach, BUT NOW on the latest video for halo ce anniversary, the assault rifle looks like the one from halo 1. So things will change.

1: Quote fail. 2: Anything and everything in CEA is only graphics changes and simple additions, bud. 3: How does random armor in Legends being Mark One correlate to MJOLNIR being mark 6? 4: Chief has had Mark Six since H2. Highly doubtful.
Posted by: jack0fhearts Funny that they use the Tree of Life for a weapon of destruction...
It's also a magic sword.

That was the only Prototype left, there aren't any left so that's not even remotely possible.

God forbid 343 let John use Forerunner weapons, vehicles, and mechs.

That isn't MJOLNIR... At least, not Mark I MJOLNIR. And as Grey said, how the heck would John get it?

What has happend to the ninjas? [Edited on 07.21.2011 11:31 AM PDT]

The Mark 1-III needed generators to operate, so it's pretty much useless in the long term.

I agree that the HRUNTING Mech-suit should be in Halo 4, but they should make it a vehicle and bit less powerful, because if it was as powerful as it was in Halo:Legends, then it would be too over powered.Still it should keep most of its weaponry. They should only take out the nukelear fusion self destruct sequence, and the bubble shield. Then it could be used like a vehicle in multiplayer. Agree????
-
Even if this was the case how would he get it? becuase it is a fact that the Dawn wouldn't have random armor upgrades around that weren't used, especially this.
-
Well sparten armor does weigh a few tons, i'm sure a larger shoulder piece doesn't make too much of a difference
-
this is true! don't think it is so much the 'bulk' that makes it look a bit random, its the fact the model makes it look as though the person couldn't possible move!
-
Eh some people just like what they like. I don't like super bulky armor. One big shoulder and one small one is what i like. Despite that i wouldn't mind having a badass mini-gundam to blow the crap out of people in Halo 4
-
saying that, some of the armours I see on Xbox live are so funny its unbelievable, why on Earth some people think that 'bulked' up armour looks good! was some dude last night on Arena who looked like he couldn't physically move he was so bulky also had that horrible 'fish-bowl' helmet with the E.O.D style parts, horrible horrible helmet!
