QTA XII/VI found in Reach! Easter Egg.

He's a New Mombasa SWAT style Officer of the NMPD. You see them alongside marines in ODST's campaign. On Tayari Plaza you have marines fight with you, same with Uplift Reserve and Kizingo Boulevard. When you get to the end of Kizingo Boulevard, though, in the end cut scene of the level an NMPD Officer says "Thank God! Does one of you know how to use explosives?" and Mickey and Dutch exit the area through a tunnel leading to ONI Alpha Site. ONI Alpha site you fight with more of these Officers, strange, though, as a job like this (destroying an ONI building to prevent the Covenant from gaining ONI information) would seem to be a job for the marines. NMPD HQ is just Romeo and Buck with a few NMPD Officers at the end. Kikowani Station is just you and your ODST team. Data Hive is just you and one NMPD Officer, and this one is different from most of the others, yes, but that's only because he's one of the corrupt Officers under Kinslers control. For the rest of the level it's just you and Dare. Finally for Coastal Highway it's just you, your squad, and Vergil. Actually, has anyone seen Marines or NMPD Officers in the ODST campaign with the QTA XII/VI text on them somewhere?

Obviously you have played Halo 3 ODST. Have you ever found the last audiophile? The marine is unusual. Visor goes all the way around his face. But thats not the point. He's different. Just like the marine you found with the infamous logo "QTA XII VI" In ODST, the marine led to another secret room. I say in Reach, we will meet him again, and this time, he'll be hiding something. A secret room. This could lead to a whole new possibility of things. i have no clue if you have tried this, but do it if not already and send me feedback. THEORY 2 last week in bungies weekly update, they said two thing that intrigued me. 1. They would be launching Phase 2 of the bungie mobile app. Millions of idea right there. 2. They would be telling us what Bungie Aerospace is. That is somehow related to QTA, assuming the 'A' is Aerospace. I say: We wait until this Friday, with the big bungie update. Warning the following is a lot of math! And QTA can be numbers. Q=17 [117?] T=20 A=1 [1+7+2+0+1=11 [2011?]] or add the full numbers [17+20+1=38] 38 [3+8=11]. Notice, both ways they add up to 11. 2011. The year Bungie releases Halo, again this could refer to the app or bungie aerospace. and as for XII VI [12/6] could be NF? doubt it. X=24, I=9, I=9, V=23, I=9. [2+4+[9x3]+2+3=38] which 3+8=11. reference again to 2011. 38 could be 3 and 8 3=c 8=H or could be the eleven...K or AA AA of course has to do with the AA gun the marine goes to. OR add em all together! Q 17 T 20 A 1 X 24 I 9 I 9 V 23 I 9 ----- =112 ....117-112=5 or in that case 1+7+2+0+1+2+4+9+9+2+3+9=49 which is the square root of 7. Bungie's number. 7 could refer to the third letter in the word bungie. 7=g meaning 3 would be c. or middle. however. Hopefully this is useful. lots of math, numbers. my specialty. -Beastly

thats cool but I believe you are over thinking it. It could possibly have something to do with Bungie Aerospace, but remember that this QTA thing was first discovered on the ODST controller a couple years ago. Bungie at that time may not even have thought about their next project after Reach. It is a cool find but I dont think it'll lead anywhere

I was playing Oni today and one of the marines inside the base, fighting the two hunters, had lost his helmet. I was wondering if anyone has seen this and if it means anything. He had Shva 22 on his leg as well. Thought it was interesting because it was the first time I had ever seen this.

woowwwww i had several mindgasms during reading this. btw QTA means qickest to arrive. i is linked to ODSTs as they are orbitally dropped and since thos pods go faster than say, a pelican, they are the quickest. hope this helps in some way. im so glad i stumbled upon this thread

I seem to remember the OP said something about religious references. (Luke 12,6 I believe). The numbers 7 and 3 are both reffered to a number of times in the bible. Also, Bungie's favorite number is 7, and 7^3 is 343. I'm not sure if this goes anywhere, though.

It would be spectacular if we really could find something hidden after all this time. It would really show the dedication of the Halo community. I applied to the group mentioned in the OP, but I'm not sure what I can do to help in the research that others are not already doing.
