I have taken the time to compile everything I know. Some of these are well-known. Some are not. FUN FACTS ABOUND! (Note: I will avoid the obvious ones, like Jun's flyable Falcon on WC, Reach Racer, Package Banshee Easter Egg, the Pelican/Phantom easter egg, and all the traditional secrets.) Note that I found some of these, but others can't be credited to me.
1. Touching, driving over, or approaching faulty geometry will trigger the infamous "Light-speed glitch." Known faulty geometry: Hemorrhage rocks, Hemorrhage hills, Forge dishes, rocks, boulders, Breakpoint upper hill, Breakpoint bridge, and some corners and random objects in campaign. This glitch primarily affects antigravity vehicles.
Effect on Ghosts and Revenants: Causes them to fly out of the map at insane speeds or smash into walls, depending on the angle the glitch is triggered at.
Effect on Wraiths: Similar, but since the tank is heavier, it seems to survive more often and usually just cartwheels or spins like a top. Sometimes it won't even lift off the ground. Other times, it'll go flying decently high into the air.
Effect on Warthogs: It seems it is possible for them to fly away, but it's so rare it might as well not happen.
Effect on Mongooses: None.
Effect on Scorpions: It's rare, but it can happen.
Effect on Banshee: None.
Effect on Falcon: Triggers hilarious glitch I dubbed "ROFLFALCON." The Falcon goes out of control and has ridiculous spasms and twitches. Usually ends up flying backwards or upside down. It is rare, but the glitch may continue for up to a minute or longer, depending on the map's terrain and the severity of the spasm. The Falcon has been recorded to have flipped out at the top of the Spire, spazzed its way down to the ground, and then spazzed its way back up to the top of the Spire. It seems this case has less to do with faulty geometry and more to do with the angle the Falcon is resting at or which part of the Falcon is touching something.
2. It is possible to get "eaten" by a supply crate. If you stand in the area where a crate respawns in Firefight, if done correctly, you will remain inside the crate, able to see out but unable to be spotted.
3. The only two Forge objects capable of killing an Armor Locker are killballs and grids. Even dropping a seastack from the top of the map has no effect. However, you can still use any object to force the Armor Locker through the ground, thereby killing him or her.
4. Removing a coliseum wall from beneath a Scorpion by dragging the wall backwards and up will cause the Scorpion to fly off at ridiculous speeds. Often, the Scorpion will travel so quickly it will skip across the entirety of Forge World like a skipping stone.
5. If you place an Armor Lock equipment down in Forge and delete all equipment while someone is in Armor Lock, they will have infinite Armor Lock and be invincible to everything but water, killballs and grids. They can still drive vehicles and do everything normally. However, if your vehicle explodes, you will die, and you can still be assassinated. You can also set the AL as "INV_GATES" and achieve the same effect if it deletes while you are playing Invasion.
6. It is possible to walk through a warthog using Armor Lock.
7. Every Frigate that appears in-game, excluding the Grafton and the Saratoga, is actually the Savannah. Similarly, every Pelican is Noble Team's Pelican, and says NOBLE 458 on it.
8. Most AI-controlled vehicles, besides mission critical vehicles (ones that stay with you the whole level), including Falcons and Banshees, are actually unmanned.
9. On Exodus, during the Falcon rail shooter segment, every vehicle behind you will either disappear or drop out of the sky once you pass a certain checkpoint.
10. If you acquire Jun's invincible Falcon and fly it to the part where you would normally get picked up by a Falcon, get out, and sit down in a passenger seat, if there is a trooper alive, he will get in the Falcon and disappear. The Falcon will still take you to the comm outpost regardless.
11. It is possible to trigger a "Giant Spartan" glitch in Multiplayer. As far as I know, this has only been recorded one time. In any case, it is EXTREMELY rare, and no one seems to know why or how it is triggered. A Giant Warthog has also been reported to have happened in the same area on a Forged map in an unrelated match.
12. It is possible to beat the Guardians in Hog-Potato. Normally, your Warthog explodes after a set time, but if you drive it out-of-bounds, it resets, and you are alive.
13. A "Pressure Launch" glitch can be triggered by crouch-walking into a tight corner for a little while and then standing. This is most easily done on Boneyard, which has a few spots where this can be done. Getting stuck in between railings or stairs can also cause this to happen.
14. You can play tank pinball by going into Forge. Pick up a Scorpion and spin it around upside-down on the ground for a little while and then let go of it. If done correctly, it will continue to spin around across the map. Unfortunately, it isn't what it used to be (in Halo 3) and it doesn't last very long.
15. By placing two one-way shields down on top of each other you can make a trap, a trampoline, or a human monorail.
16. The "Zombie Arms" glitch can be triggered in Forge by having someone hold X while a monitor rapidly picks up and lets go of a weapon.
17. Hijacking a Banshee at the Spire on Tip of the Spear will trigger the "Friendly Elite" (or as I like to call it, the Friendlite) glitch. The Elite will not attack you, usually remains in place, and if allowed to run off back to the Spire, he will not help his allies no matter what.
18. If you use pan-cam on LNoS, you will find that the Savannah simply waits alongside the Ardent Prayer, doing absolutely nothing, taking plasma rounds and not giving a crap until you hit the checkpoint by the guns. Then, they will suddenly start taking damage and OHGODWE'RESINKING.
19. It is possible to hit the edge of the skybox on LNoS. If you die while in a Sabre, glitch the camera out of the map and follow your body. Eventually, after maybe 40-50 seconds, the body will smash into the skybox and float among the stars.
20. ONI: Sword Base contains a hidden "teleporter". If you proceed with the mission as normal until the point when you return to the base, try going back towards the AA gun or the comm outpost. Once you go far enough, you will instantaneously teleport back to where you started. If you boost into the "teleporter" with a Wraith, the tank will flip out and fly up into the air.
21. Quickly rotating a grid in place will trigger a Grid Cyclone. All players standing on it will instantly die, but vehicles will be spun about until they reach the edge of the grid. They will usually fly off into the distance then.
22. The water outside of Forge World's boundaries is not actual water. You can walk and drive on it, and it has the consistency of ground, even though you cause splashes.
23. If you glitch a teleporter through an invisible wall on Forge World and then link it to another one and boost through it with a Wraith or Revenant, you will fly straight up. By the time you die, you will almost have reached the top of the skybox.
24. The old method of Warthog Launching doesn't work in Reach. Now, you have to throw down a frag and have a teammate shoot it with a concussion rifle.
25. If you go into monitor mode just before you fire a laser or plasma launcher or while jetpacking, you will leave orbs behind.
26. If you jump on top of a Hunter's head, he will not attack you, nor will his partner. He will simply get angry and do a stupid-looking approximation of a dance.
Posted by: MythicSniper 132. You can set players to "be the flag " in a custom Stockpile game.
How?
Posted by: Souplooper This may be the greatest post of all time
I love how most of the replies I got could be paraphrased as this. xD

Yeah, so, it's 135 now not 95. Look above.
-
-
121. Bungie didn't program the AI on Holdout to move around very well, and Elites will frequently run, roll, or walk off the map for no apparent reason. 122. An "inverted gravity" effect can be achieved in Forge by placing coliseum walls at 45 degree angles. Placing objects such as bridges at 45 degree angles will make it appear as if players are walking up walls and moving in impossible ways when, in reality, they are merely going up 45 degree angles. 123. Placing two man-cannons or gravity lifts one on top of the other so that they form an hourglass shape (with the lift itself being the middle) will allow you to be suspended in midair or keep a vehicle floating. 124. The Sinoviet Tower (the building with the hologram of a Frigate in it) contains Reflection, which is a remake of the Halo 2 map Ivory Tower. If you go upstairs, you will find the Suicidal Marine. He is a reference to the Suicidal Marine you find in the Halo: CE level 343 Guilty Spark. Also, there is a further nod to Ivory Tower here. If you stood near the metal door behind the elevator, it used to play a very faint version of Siege of Madrial. Some disputed the claim, but digging through the map files revealed the song's presence as one of the sound files on the map. In Reach, Siege of Madrigal will sometimes play in the elevators you take down to the "Reflection" portion of Sinoviet Tower. 125. Trading the Magnum for a weapon that is on a flat, elevated surface will occasionally trigger the "Phantom Pistol" or "Possessed Pistol" glitch. On Asylum, if you trade the Magnum for one of the Needlers, you will occasionally witness this glitch. The weapon will flip out and flop around as if it were some sort of possessed fish. 126. Rarely, if you are killed, you may sometimes,well...do a barrel roll...for an extended period of time. There is a famous instance that occurred in the big sniper tower on Pinnacle (search "Halo Reach do a barrel roll" on YouTube if you care), but it has been known to happen in other areas. Basically, your body enters into the "drowning" ragdoll. This animation involves you spinning in epic circles. Normally, this happens when you fall into water or get killed in space. It can happen if you die and your body gets tossed into the air, but the glitch in question is different. You float in midair just a foot or two off the ground and do a ton of barrel rolls for no apparent reason. It has been known to continue for up to 20+ seconds. 127. The Falcon has an enhanced motion tracker that resembles the enhanced motion tracker you can give players as an option in custom games. You will see ghost contacts that actually represent where enemies are at all times. The Falcon can detect slow-moving and stationary enemies as well as allies at all times, whereas the normal motion tracker cannot spot slow-moving or stationary enemies. In fact, the Falcon's motion tracker is so advanced it can spot enemies using active camo! 128. In Reach, and in Halo 3 and ODST, the Warthog's tires are printed with "Puma" on them. This is a reference to Red vs Blue, in which Simmons and Grif argued with Sarge about what to call the Warthog. "Puma" is one of the things that was suggested, along with, my personal favorite, "Chupathingy." 129. You can destroy an Anti-Air gun with a Rocket Hog from a distance by shooting near the large round spot on the side of the gun for a little while. This is essentially required in order to beat ToTS on LASO. 130. Believe it or not, every cutscene is rendered in real-time. This is why you can do funny things like litter the floor with bodies or place a Forklift behind you before you trigger the cutscene; during the cutscene, they will be there. Don't believe me? Fire up the last checkpoint of Tip of the Spear, finish the level, and play very close attention just before the Grafton flies in to MAC blast the Spire. If you notice, you will see low-resolution, horribly rendered (what I referred to as "squishy vehicles") Falcons flying in awkward circles as the Grafton comes in. These Squishy Falcons were flying in that spot during the level. 131. If you punch or shoot a fusion coil and then evade away just before it explodes, even if you are ten feet away, you will be killed as if you had been standing right there when it blew up. 132. You can set players to "be the flag " in a custom Stockpile game. 133. Falling into a teleporter will cause you to fly out of the linked teleporter. Using this, you can create a teleporter cannon that accelerates players or vehicles to ludicrous speeds or simply create a network of teleporters that launch the player around the map. As Portal taught us, "Speedy thing goes in; Speedy thing comes out." Conservation of momentum, son. 134. If both flags are away and dropped on the ground during a Multiflag game when it goes blackscreen, they may switch sides. So, in effect, the red flag becomes the blue flag and vice versa. 135. If you board the back of a Wraith but do not attack, the Wraith will drive in wide, confused circles until you jump off. Enemies will not attack you unless they are a foot or two away and the Wraith will usually run over its allies. [Edited on 06.30.2011 10:35 PM PDT]

96. If it goes blackscreen while you are playing an Invasion game on Spire, pause the film after it comes out of blackscreen. You will notice that the vehicle spawns that apply to Invasion Slayer will be in effect for about 3-5 seconds. There will also be a Banshee randomly in the middle of the river near the Spartan spawn. There will be a Falcon and a Warthog at the Spartan spawn regardless of what phase you are in, a Falcon in the middle of the high road at the Elite Spawn, behind the shields, a civilian Warthog and a Ghost at the BFG, and a Banshee, Falcon, civilian Warthog and Ghost by the Spire. The vehicles will vanish as soon as you are able to control your character again. So, in other words, you would never have known they were there. 97. "Discoing" refers to the phenomenon when Forge pieces on a map all flicker very rapidly. The disco limit is the bane of every Forger. If you hit it, you can expect framerate lag and a lot of ugly flashing that can virtually destroy gameplay. Discoing occurs when too many frame rate-heavy pieces are placed on a map--railings are one of these pieces. In general, the smaller and more decorative a piece the more conducive to discoing it is. 98. On Pillar of Autumn, you will occasionally encounter the bizarre glitch dubbed "Telekinetic Scarabs." It appears that proximity might be a factor, but I have seen Mongooses drive as far away from the Scarabs as possible when they pass them and still get flung around. Evidently, the second Scarab is the one that does the pushing. Basically, what happens is that your 'Goose (or truck) gets picked up and thrown around, usually ending up outside the map, because an invisible force that is seemingly emitted by the Scarabs will push you forward. 99. You can launch up to the Scarabs and destroy the core the same way you did in Halo 3, but destroying it will do nothing. They will simply continue to move. 100. Both Portable Shields and spawn points have strange properties when placed or submerged in water. They will flip out and have epic seizures for 2-3 minutes before de-spawning. 101. The smelting chambers on Pillar of Autumn (the big pot-looking things with molten liquid in them) are a lie. I guess Bungie figured most sane people wouldn't look at a smelting chamber and decide to jump into it, but, hey, I'm not here to be sane, am I? Well, if you jump in, like I did, you'll find that the "liquid" is actually just a flat layer. There's nothing underneath, and you just fall in and die, rather than spin in epic little circles as you sink like you normally do in liquid. 102. In this same area, if you jump up to the ledge with the fence up on the catwalk, you'll notice that it's raining to your right--inside. Yeah, we're talking old school programming fail here, where it rains inside of buildings. 103. Planet Reach is in the Epsilon Eridani star system, which is 10.5 light-years from Earth. 104. The Spiker is the only small arms weapon that exhibits muzzle heat-up from continuous fire. 105. Rocket Launcher and Plasma Launcher rounds sometimes defy gravity when locked-on. If approaching a wall, they will often skip off of the surface or even turn at a right angle. This is most easily seen on Spire. The rocket will consistently skip off of the shield as if it were a skipping stone on water as it makes its way around. 106. If you sprint and jump off the ledge at the start of Pillar of Autumn (as if you were going to get "If They Came to Hear Me Beg"), you will usually survive. This is because if you are sprinting in midair, the game registers you as sprinting even though you just jumped off a ledge. So when you hit the ground, you take no damage. 107. Target Locator rounds are unnecessarily detailed. You would expect poorly rendered projectiles, but they are in fact as detailed as the missiles in the stacks on Anchor 9. 108. There is a considerable discrepancy between on-screen reloading and third person reloading. In first person, if you reload, say, a Fuel Rod, you will see your character remove a stack of spent rods and insert a fresh one. Your can actually see the stack in their hand as they go to reload. If you watch this same animation from third person, they reach for the air near their hip and press down on the top of the gun. The stack isn't actually there, nor does the finer detail of reloading show up. The FRG's muzzle doesn't even retract the way it does in first person. In fact, every time you reload anything, what you see on-screen is completely different from what you see in third person. The same holds true for the idling animations. These are the animations when you stand around for a little while and your character inspects his or her weapon, often turning it or bringing it closer to themselves. This cannot be seen in third person. 109. It's possible to drive the Troop Transport Hog on ONI: Sword Base. In order to do this, you have to flip the vehicle over with a Concussion Rifle before it reaches the location where it is scripted to explode. Troopers will board all seats of your Hog if you manage to save it. 110. On this note, the Transport Hog never actually gets shot. It simply explodes when it reaches the area between the two Wraiths. Both Wraiths fire gunner shots after it explodes to simulate engagement. In fact, it actually just chills alongside the Wraith on the left until you trigger the scripted event. 111. After escorting Buck, if you land on the tower and follow him, he will go through a door into a dark, featureless room. Sometimes, he just stands there. Other times, he says "See you in hell, Spartan" and vanishes instantly. 112. There is a Stairway to Heaven of comparable length to the one that was outside Sierra 117 in Halo 3. This Stairway can be found on The Package. If you use the "4 Banshees" easter egg, you will have removed all invisible walls and height barriers. Fly past the anti-air cannons towards the fire and smoke in the distance. There's also an invisible floor here, but the Stairway is near the edge of the skybox. 113. Evidently, it's possible for a Phantom to collide with Keyes' Pelican on Pillar of Autumn. If a Phantom does hit the Pelican, it will "kill" the "pilot" on board and you will be unable to continue the mission because the Pelican will just fall to the bottom of the map. 114. An extremely rare line of IWHBYD dialogue is in what seems to be Master Chief's voice. The line is in the spirit of the "In a world", "against impossible odds", "a hero will rise" movie trailer lines. I have only heard this one time, and the voice is definitely not the trooper's normal voice. 115. If you get outside the level on Exodus in the final area and walk out into the water, you will find that you are floating in a crouched position. You are able to float across the water until you reach the area with runway markers near where the Transport Ship crashed. Here, you die. 116. Renegade has pieces of faulty geometry at the Banshee spawns. The piece is the walkway to the landing pad. 117. The Siege of Madrigal originally played in several locations on Assault on the Control room. It has been an easter egg in every Halo game, including ODST. In Reach, it was put in as an easter egg trigged by a switch in New Alexandria. However, it also plays in Halsey's lab on The Package. The song is originally from another Bungie game, Myth. 118. Setting an object to "INV_VEHICLE" will cause a waypoint to appear above the object in Invasion. This is useful for pointing out power weapons. Unfortunately, this does not work for structures. 119. The Heart Attack armor effect is based off of the winged hearts that surrounded the "Dancing Marty" Easter egg in Halo 3: ODST. Pestilence would seem to reference the Flood, because the greenish-black stain left behind is substantially the same as what is left behind after a Flood Carrier form explodes. The slime that comes out of the player reflects the fact that Flood forms drip and ooze as they move. 120. Once you reach the first Anti-Air gun in ToTS, drive to the cliff's edge and turn around. Face the direction the Frigates fly in from. If you pay attention, you'll notice what looks like a piece of a waterfall in midair above where you started the level. I'm not certain if you can see this as early as the start of the level, but you can definitely see it from this spot. In fact, there's at least one other bit of water in the sky. It's definitely not clouds, and it resembles the spray of mist at the bottom of any of the waterfalls in the game. My guess is that there had been a waterfall there originally, and Bungie forgot to remove that bit the same way they forgot the grass and random door outside the map on Corvette. I found #39 and #40 to be most interesting. It's stuff which I've experienced and was bewildered by. That's as far as I've got so far, but I will continue reading... With regards to #85, Thom could also be a loadout name due to the previous Noble Six. Some interesting stuff anyway. [Edited on 06.29.2011 3:28 PM PDT]

Grab a plasma pistol and proceed with the mission as you normally would. Soon after you get to drive the trucks, you will be told to go to a house ahead. Drive over the bridge and look up to your left. Jun's Falcon will be hovering there. Climb up the slope to your left and use an overcharged PP shot to knock it down. The "pilot" will only be ejected if you manage to flip the Falcon over, which is easy enough if it falls onto the slope. Once the cockpit opens, you will be able to fly it. I don't know whether #93 only applies to Pinnacle or whether it just requires an intense number of black screens, but I've only witnessed this phenomenon on Pinnacle. The AA's popping out of peoples' backs after black screen is due to lag, yes, but it's also because their Armor Abilities effectively reset. This is why you will sometimes come out of black screen with Sprint instead of your previous AA or you might come out of it with no AA at all. [Edited on 06.29.2011 2:45 PM PDT]

And tedious is an understatement, bro. I gave up because I couldn't figure out how to get down to the damn thing because the invisible cliffs outside the level refused to let up. And the invisible slopes usually led to certain death. I probably missed the route by a few feet, and it's probably easier than I thought, but I will never again attempt to pilot a Seraph.

I can add five more 96. The Mongoose is the only vehicle that allow players to drive with the flag in ctf games. halopedian mongoose article, trivia 97. You can fly a Pelican and Phantom. 98. The Focus Rifle sucks and anyone who says it is better than the Beam Rifle obviously could not use the Beam Rifle. 99. The Falcon has a unique ability most players are unaware of: a greatly extended Motion Tracker Range. It is even capable of detecting hostile players that normally wouldn't show up (not moving, crouched, players using the 'Active Camo' armor ability, etc). This applies to everyone in the Falcon, regardless of position or species. Players can this to their teams advantage when piloting one by informing team mates on the ground of the locations of enemies. halopedian falcon article, trivia 100. The handle of the needle rifle seems to be on a hinge. halopedian needle rifle article, trivia.
Posted by: Archon67 Got another! (not on the list, didn't read the rest of the thread) If you play on solo (It doesn't seem to work on co-op) on The Package, go all the way through with the Scorpion to where you need to go inside Sword Base, then turn back once you get the checkpoint, grab a Revenant from near the start of the level and drive it into the base, up the ramp past the barriers and into the base, Jun will 'swagger walk' and Emile's arms will glitch through his chest. Neither will have weapons and can only Armor Lock.
So that's how that hilarious glitch was triggered in that Fails of the Weak video... Gonna try this now. MUST. HAVE. PIMP WALKING TEAMMATES.
