Gungnir is pronounced...
GUN-YIR, as in gun, like in hand'gun', the 'yir', as in a shortened form of the word 'year'
Don't believe me? Google it. Then use Google translate to do an English to English translation and use the voice pronunciation feature to hear it for yourself

Why would an English-English Google Translate work? The word is not English. It would be like asking it to say "chat" from a french post or how to pronounce "Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme" which is also not english. The word is nordic origin, not english.
