So why do Brutes have energy shields?
In Halo 2 and Halo 3, Brutes never had energy shields.
However, in Halo 3, the [i]did[/i] have power armor, but it never sparked when they were shot. So why do they appear to have them now?
My thoughts? Honestly, I think the VISR detects the power armor's energy, so it shows as energy shields. What are your thoughts though?

My guess its simply the same power armor. When you talk about brute armor when playing you always refer to them as having shield and form a certain point of view power armor in theory is a shield since Master Cheif wears power armor too so...in effect I guess thye had shield too in Halo 3 lol
