I have been wanting to use dev mode to do cool stuff in the campaign but when I type in -console -devmode in the properties of Halo I still can't use dev mode (I still get the console by pressing ~).
I can't use things like debug_camera_saver or cheat_all_weapons. Is there a workaround to this? I have tried the devmode application but it says it can't find Halo.
Would i need some kind of version changer program or something?

Which would make sense why it's not working.
If you're talking about the DevTrainer I linked then that's not true. It works perfectly fine with 1.09 In fact, I use it all the time for Campaign/LAN Multiplayer.
Wasn't sure as I haven't bothered with these things for months, probably just over a year. I know for a fact that many programs stopped working, like DevMode programs, SightJacker, etc. Just realised I didn't read your post properly anyway, quickly went through when replying, saw the link and thought it was part to do with the OP. And I never said it didn't just that I doubt it xD
Posted by: the omega man117 I have seen some youtube videos of people using it in campaign. Also, it won't work in multiplayer either.
There's ways to play the single player campaign maps on Custom Edition also. Sort of went away from map making and modding about a 1-2 years ago, so not really up to date on what is going on. I've used devmode on custom edition, never bothered on PC. However, you need to take into account that the one you're probably using I guess doesn't work with 1.09? A lot of things were broken with it like sighjacker, and many haven't been updated. Developer Mode is native to Halo Custom Edition, i.e. there is the option for it, however the programs are there to allow you to use it in multiplayer. If you want to use devmode in single player campaign maps I suggest you just download the maps and type map map_name into the console when loading the Dev Mode version of Halo CE. I think, anyway xD Edit: From looking at the one linked to, I doubt that is compatible with 1.09, which is the latest version. Which would make sense why it's not working. There are ways to get this working and still join and play with the latest version, which involves a version changer, you'll have to look it up though, and if you're already on 1.09 it is more of a hassle to sort it out. I don't believe devmode works like that in Campaign. Try to use it in Multiplayer first. In fact, it's been so long that I can't even remember if devmode works on anything other than Custom Edition... I do know that Paulus' DevTrainer works for both. I use it on Halo PC's Campaign all the time (I've beaten it so many times that I never play it to beat it, so, I have more fun messing around with that) The DevTrainer I was talking about [Edited on 06.11.2011 4:34 PM PDT]
