Why I think motorcycles are retarded
People ride motorcycles for one reason: to try to fit into society's idea of what a rebellious badass does.
If they really did it for 'the love of the open road' or whatever other bull-blam!- excuse they give, they wouldn't have a problem riding Vespas, mopeds, Segways, or any of the other vehicles which give you free range of the road and allows the wind to blow out the leftover pieces of food from your unnecessarily bushy motorcycle beard.
So basically these people ride motorcycles to show they're rebellious. They can't be held down by the man. Society can't dictate their actions. That is unless society dictates that riding motorcycles is what shows you don't accept what society dictates.
That's why I think people who ride motorcycles are stupid. They do it for the rebellious attitude, but it's not really rebellious if you're buying into the already preconceived notion of what a badass is.

That Vespa accelerates like a 3 legged goat on acid compared to any good motorcycle. Plus, motorcycles are just sexier than scooters/mopeds....
