Convince me why MW3 is better than BF3?
C'mon convince me why is MW3 better than BF3? You better bring out some good details. This is your own opinion.

I can't because neither game has been released yet, so I can't judge the quality of either game until I've been able to play them both. I can say, however, that Battlefield 3 looks infinitely more interesting to me than Modern Warfare 3 does, which frankly, looks like more of the same, at least campaign wise. The survival mode seems interesting (and it also seems like it's going to be able to stand out from Nazi Zombies), and I can't say anything when it comes to multiplayer since no footage or information of that has been officially released and confirmed. I know that leaked information has come out, but there is no way to be sure that it's true until the game has been released.

OT: Neither game came out yet, therefore unless you've played both games this thread is pointless. *edit* The only thing I will say is MW and MW2's campaign's were much better then the Battlefield campaign's I played. The destruction in modern warfare 3 is campaign only and is scripted. Unlike Battlefield the evironment reacts to your actions so if you throw a grenade at a wall the explosion will destroy the wall. This is in campaign and multiplayer and not scripted. Animation and graphics are a lot better and smoother in Battlefield than MW3. AI interacts with the environment and are smart unlike in MW or any other CoD they just have numbers to give the illusion of tactic and smart AI and in CoD they are very scripted. Plus these developers would prefer a quality game and will work on it till it's as perfect as it can be. CoD is a fast paced shooter, not arcade, fast paced. All y'all care about in Bf3 is the dang multiplayer, which means Mw3 will have a better Campaign. All y'all are doing is hating a very famous and great Video Game franchise.

Depends on your taste in shooters, of course. It is quite inarguable that BF3 has [i]much[/i] more fine detail and a far superior [i]looking[/i] engine. However, CoD's engine can be considered a lot more reliable and easy on the eyes, performing well with its interlaced netcode. BF3 is, to put it simply, a battlefield shooter. Comprising of a very large playing field for matches and an array of vehicles to use. CoD is, to put it simply, an arcade shooter. Comprising of smaller playing field for matches and no on-field vehicles. (Killstreaks are an exception.) Both use the class-system that allow people to choose from weapons, equipment, attachments, and perks. BF3 uses four classes with quite different roles, unlike CoD where most classes can perform very similar roles. CoD is usually more fast paced, and simple gunfights will take place, typically from short-medium range. They are quick, and long-lasting fronts will normally only be found in stationary objective modes. BF is usually slower paced, and a more dynamic fight could occur, including vehicles. These fights may or may not last a fair chunk of time, depending on distance, positioning, and weapons. Overall: CoD is a more simplified shooter, and thus an arcade. It sports more fast-paced gameplay on small levels that usually contain multiple accessible vertical floors. BF is more war-like, containing an array of vehicles at their disposal and more defined classes. [i]Both[/i] games need teamwork, more so on objective modes.
