Credit Reset Disputes - 5/24/2011
Good afternoon,
We have executed a round of Credit Resets for accounts which have habitually exhibited idling or "AFK" behavior while playing in Firefight Matchmaking. If you believe your ban was a false positive, you can post a request for investigation.
[b]Only request an investigation if you are absolutely sure that your ban was a false positive, if we take the time to investigate your account and find that you do have idling or "AFK" behavior, we will place an extended Credit Ban on your account.[/b]
Do not use this thread for any other discussion. If you are not requesting an investigation of your Credit Reset from 5/24/2011, do not post in this thread.

i was just playing a matchmaking game and got banned i dont know why why i have been getting kills in every game but sometimes i will go do something and comeback and forget that i was playing and that happened one time today please just look at my service record i get kills in every game i also play more mlg and mm than firefight its just kinda dumb how many hours i put into this game and one wrong thing that i didn't mean to do messes up my account ...... All of the links I see are +4, +5, in FF, last time I checked that's not AFK. I don't get it? When I have friends over I make them play FF all the time because they'll get owned in MM...That's not AFK....

AFKing doesn't hurt you, and the ban does more harm than good. Bungie should fix the mess THEY created, not implement a ban that is easily avoided and harms the innocent.

I have been banned for 2 weeks and have had my credits reset for no reason at all. I do not AFK or fool with the network. The only thing I may be quilting of is leaving a game to answer the phone or door. Please review my record and let me know what I have done to deserve this action. I have played Halo for 5 years and have never had my honesty questioned. This type of action is appropriate when there is a serious problem, but all stepped must be taken to ensure that innocent player do not suffer or are accused of questionable activity.

I was playing a game on Halo: Reach and this message came up "This xbox 360 console has been banned from earning credits for two weeks." Why is this when I've done nothing wrong? My gametag is AngryHeartAche Thanks

I play the game at home and work, and sometimes at work i have to switch my attention from the game to a phone call or other distraction and might afk during a game or two. I never have meant to AFK or do anything that might put my account's rank or credits at risk. GT: L24A
