Credit Reset Disputes - 5/24/2011
Good afternoon,
We have executed a round of Credit Resets for accounts which have habitually exhibited idling or "AFK" behavior while playing in Firefight Matchmaking. If you believe your ban was a false positive, you can post a request for investigation.
[b]Only request an investigation if you are absolutely sure that your ban was a false positive, if we take the time to investigate your account and find that you do have idling or "AFK" behavior, we will place an extended Credit Ban on your account.[/b]
Do not use this thread for any other discussion. If you are not requesting an investigation of your Credit Reset from 5/24/2011, do not post in this thread.

question bungie: How do u suppose someone has been AFKing? do u look at game history and look for a streak of no scores on fire fight or just look for no scores overall doesnt matter how far they are parted? and also a suggestion suppose someone has been accused of being a AFKer would it be more fair and perhaps simpler to disable the ability to earn any firefight credits? I was half way to Mythic Can you please look at mine todays is my brithday and its makes me really sad i have to admit that i am crying right now because of my reset because I had to play FF on my brithday and i had to go for a min and i didnt get back for couple minutes and i found out i was banned afteri came backat 5:20. And i would like bungie to look into my accout beause i AFK Once and got reset i know A LOT of my friends that AFKed. Bungie you made an aswome game but i cant rank up now but i would probly play forge from now. [Edited on 05.24.2011 3:30 PM PDT]

yeah my account got reset and i only played firefight like 3 times last month i dont understand why i got reset last time i got credit banned for afk and i learned my lesson and stayed away from firefight look at my game history , please let me know what i did wrong and please bring my account to what it was thanks

banpuppy is now a full on rabid werewolf it seems, ALOT of people got AFK reset. it seems bungie do listen to our pleas for justice. bravo good sirs.

I formally request an investigation regarding my ban. I believe that this has been falsely implemented on me. I have no history of idling,"AFKing", or even playing Firefight Matchmaking except for the occasional game here and there. I suspect it was a false positive and that it should be looked into. Hello, today my xbox 360 console and my account were both banned from earning credits for 2 weeks. In addition I'm a recruit now so I think that this specific ban/credit reset applies to me. NOW, I do NOT AFK in firefight matchmaking at ALL. In all the firefight games I don't think I've ever idled (I complete my games all the way through trying to get 1st place all the time). Also, I do not recall violating any xbox live rules on Reach or any other game. Please investigate this as I feel I have been wrongly banned. I always play throughout my matchmaking games and do not tamper at all with the network or in-game play. Thanks, o Psychosis o

Jeremiah, turned on my Xbox, received a warning that I was on probation for quitting games. That's fine, I refuse to play to play the map Hemmorage. In the middle of my most recent Arena game, I received this warning again, as well as as warning that I was credit banned for 2 weeks. My jaw dropped. After the game I went from HERO back down to Recruit. I will be the first to admit that when Reach first came out I exploited the "challenge" reset, and got set back to recruit then. However, this most recent setback is uncalled for and unjust. This is unbelievable. Please find a FF game in my history where I was AFK. I totally support all of the Inheritors who turbo controller all day everyday getting reset, however I have done nothing wrong. I'm literally in awe. Love, "poppin curbs"

Yeah, I definitely don't deserve this. Gamertag: SuPeRMaRioH15. I did AFK, but then I got banned for a day. Then, I STOPPED. That's it. Just checked my firefight history. Last AFK: 3/24. And that was only one game. COME ON BUNGIE!!! [Edited on 05.24.2011 3:41 PM PDT]

hey my gamertag is ELITE REACH and for no reason i have been credit banned and stripped of my rank. please can i have an investigation as to why. thankyou. ps how long do these investigations take? wow please note u halo players that keep putting up my afk on the 13 of may that i did afk and i have served my 24 hour ban for that and since then i have not afk yes i admit on the 13th i did afk and was righly punished but since i have done nothing wrong please bungie investigate as im sure u know i have served that ban [Edited on 05.24.2011 3:47 PM PDT]
