Credit Reset Disputes - 5/24/2011
Good afternoon,
We have executed a round of Credit Resets for accounts which have habitually exhibited idling or "AFK" behavior while playing in Firefight Matchmaking. If you believe your ban was a false positive, you can post a request for investigation.
[b]Only request an investigation if you are absolutely sure that your ban was a false positive, if we take the time to investigate your account and find that you do have idling or "AFK" behavior, we will place an extended Credit Ban on your account.[/b]
Do not use this thread for any other discussion. If you are not requesting an investigation of your Credit Reset from 5/24/2011, do not post in this thread.

This ban didn't just hit those who idled in Firefight. *Note: The banhammer does indeed ban you if you are a bad player, but I'm assuming a teammate betrayed you because you were probably idle in MM.* If you were hit in the past due to games like these in your MM history, then you were reset as a result of your second/third offense.

people please be patient, this isnt the easiest thing to search through. you should feel lucky you are getting this reviewed opposed to your reset being final. bungie recognizes the system is only 99% acurate and care enough about the unluck 1%(give or take) to take the time to individually review your game history.

If you get a credit ban, then does your rank become recruit again? I only ask because I'm unable to reach my Xbox at this time to find out whether or not I got credit banned. I was hoping that my profile on this website would tell me. I usually freak out when stuff like this happens; I don't idle in firefight at all, but mistakes can still be made.
