I've heard it makes the enemy shields have double resistance to gunfire and vise-versa. Is this true?

Basically, Bullets won't do jack to shields, while plasma bolts do. At the same time, shooting an unshielded enemy with plasma bolts won't do jack, while bullets do. Frag grenades work well to unshielded targets, while plasma grenades do well against shielded targets. Basically, Tilt takes the resistances to the extreme. Your idea is true. **tilts head sideways** huh. wouldya look at that? Ive been doin it wrong this whole time.

It tilts the screen 45 degrees... OT: Makes the aliens harder to kill.
Posted by: VehementWolf54 But PP over charge works on legendary even on Field marshalls. So if plasma does 2x damage with tilt, and mythic makes the enemy have 2x shields, then wouldn't they cancel each other out? Why would it take several overcharges for one shield?
Like I said earlier, it could be intentional.

I'm sad-end to see that no one thought that was funny...

That's probably due to the Mythic and Thunderstorm skulls increasing the Elites' overall shield strength.
Posted by: VehementWolf54 Then why does the PP overcharge not take down elite shields? Also i think it affects Noble teams shields as well.
I think that was just intentional so Tilt wasn't easy. Mythic also effects shields, just so you know, since it can also effect shields.
Posted by: VehementWolf54 Then why does the PP overcharge not take down elite shields? Bullets don't do any damage on shielded enemies and energy weapons do feeble damage. [Edited on 05.08.2011 6:19 PM PDT]

It acts as a echancer. Weakness do more, but stregths do too. i.e; Normally shields are stroger against ballistic weapons, but weak to plasma weapons. With the Tilt Skull enabled, Plasma weapons do even more damage, but ballistic also do a lot less damage. [Edited on 05.08.2011 6:15 PM PDT]

Doubles strengths and weakness of armor/shields. Shields require more bullets to take down, unlike plasma. Vice versa with Armor. Fun fact: Tilt even effects the players shields. [Edited on 05.08.2011 6:14 PM PDT]

bullets dont do s*it to enemy shields and plasma weapons dont do s*it to enemy armored units.

BUMP.
Posted by: VehementWolf54 I've heard it makes the enemy shields have double resistance to gunfire and vise-versa. Is this true?
It changes the damage tables. Essentially, enemy armor gets REALLY strong, especially against projectile weapons. Energy weapons (PP) still work fine.
