After the Covenant Cruiser, the Rapid Conversion (from Contact Harvest) was repaired it began to glass the planet again. Before it started to it broadcasted this message to the UNSC. This info was told to Halsey shortly before the Spartan IIs first mission. The sentence is also repeated before most glassings. It was in the Halo 1 demo and was also said (slightly changed) by the Prophet of Truth in Halo 3.

I know its not from the books, but the opening cutscene of Halo 3 always gets me going. The musical ques were masterfully done.

My favorite line from the books is "One" said by Lighter Than Some. If you've read Contact Harvest you knwo what I mean. That little guy is such a badass. :P My favorite lines from the games are all Gravemind lines. Right now I like "This is not your grave... But you are welcome in it."
