Is Halo Music Royalty Free? How to get consent?
I recently made a 5 minute short film for a high school competition. The theme for this year was drama, so I decided to use the most dramatic music I own, my Halo soundtracks.
The people that run the competition want written consent for any music used in the film, so how would I obtain consent for using the music listed below?
And also, is the music royalty free?
I see people posting montages and machinimas using Halo music all the time without showing consent and I wonder if they even ask to use it
The video isn't going to be sold or advertised and no profits will be made from it; it's just a high school competition! I'd appreciate any tips, Thanks!

Under Microsofts fair game usage policy you can use anything Halo related if it's non commercial/profit.
