I don't really care about K/D. If you die helping your teamates, and contribute to an overall win it doesn't matter. If you're needlessly dying...well.... There's good deaths, and there's bad deaths. It's all about which your K/D mostly consists of. K/D isn't an accurate portrayal of skill, which is why ranking should go back to Win/Loss.

[/quote] yes, this sums it up. some of the funnest things that have happened to me were in games were i was just doing bad, or was just messing around. thats what makes halo better than other games, it makes so many fun things happen, often at random times, that you just cant experience in other games on the market. That's terrible since it's social. I have a lower overall KD, but I know for a fact that I am better than you. My 1000+ Arena games and 150 MLG games unfortunately give me a lower overall KD than people like you that hide in social

also depends on what game types you play most. if slayer and such, then i would recommend trying to bring it up. but if its objective or invasion, i dont see anything wrong in sacrificing yourself for the objective.

Nah, 1.2 was actually pretty good in Halo 3. I'm lower than you are in Reach, I think I'm 1.9. I wouldn't worry, a lot of people are gonna troll you and say you suck when you don't. Lower than 1 isn't good, whether you care or not though, because that hurts the team more than helps.
