It's the current avatar I am using...
I don't quite get this...I submitted this for another weekly challenge but it's an avatar.
I'm kind of surprised because I was never contacted about it being featured...

Hey let's all complain about something cool. Friday is payday for me. Man that really sucks, can you believe they just put money in my account without asking me first? This weekend I'm going to the beach. There's sand and water everywhere, it's ridiculous. The sand gets in my shorts and between my toes and everything and doesn't even ask first! Can you believe that? So now I know what it's like to be the OP.

Anonymous recognition is the same as no recognition at all (right OP?). YOU WILL WORSHIP ME AS THOUGH I WERE A GOD!
Posted by: Chunky_Lover I did submit both original art it both the Avatar contest and the Chickenpede contest. Neither of which won but were featured on the update. Now don't get me wrong I love recognition both as a narcissist and someone who was neglected as a child(lol) but don't you think that being courteous and sending me an email would be sufficient? I do.
I think having your avatar available is more important than whether or not you were notified about it.

Well, congratulations, you should be proud. Plus Bungie has the right to do what ever they want, it say so in the rules.
Posted by: ConstantC4RN4GE You give up rights to your submitted content each week. Otherwise, he couldn't post anything in the updates.
This. By submitting it to any All Star contest you give up all rights to that artwork and Bungie can do whatever they want with it, from making it an avatar to turning it into urinal cakes in the Bungie bathrooms. Also, you can probably tell that your picture was chosen to be an avatar when it shows up as a selectable avatar. There is no need for Bungie to contact the author of something when they will find out anyway. [Edited on 03.14.2011 6:56 PM PDT]

Otherwise, he couldn't post anything in the updates.
Yes, Yes, Yes, I understand this and I know that technically they own it but all I wanted was some sort of notification that I was going to have it featured on the site like others did... Put yourself in my shoes for a moment. I did submit both original art it both the Avatar contest and the Chickenpede contest. Neither of which won but were featured on the update.
Posted by: ZYTHON Think about it, if you were Stosh, would you want to go contacting the author of every single piece of new content you added to the site? No. Yet you noticed just fine without a PM. That being said, the Avatar All Star contest is not the only All Star contest he got avatars & such for, so be grateful it's your Chickenpede up there(:
Why not? That doesn't seem difficult besides it's a job, shouldn't he be obligated for such things? I know I would do it just to be more professional. It isn't hard to ask Urk what avatars he finalized in a previous update let alone get my email so that he can at least tell me that my artwork is going to be featured on the site...
Posted by: MightyMarcher01 Did you get a star?
No, I didn't. I'm not asking about that I was asking why it the other avatars had been notified that someone had put their content on the site yet I was not. [Edited on 03.14.2011 6:43 PM PDT]
