I got an E-Mail from Playtest@Bungie.com
I got an E-Mail from Playtest@Bungie.com, but the thing is that it was in my Junk box. Has anyone else got this and can confirm it's safe or a scam.
Also, I clicked the link, it said the Survey was down for the time being.

I got mine on 8 March 2011 and when I try and click on the link I get this: Quote Bungie Beta Tester Signup Survey v2 Survey Is Not Live We have had to suspend the survey for the time being due to technical difficulties. You have not missed anything, and we will contact you again when the survey is back up. Relax, go play some Halo. playtest@bungie.com Unquote So far I haven't received another email from Bungie regarding the playtest. I can only hope it will come. I'm not sure what the criteria was for selecting people for this, however, I know it couldn't have been due to multiplayer because I've probably spent only 5-10 hours in Reach online. I have played the single player campaign by myself and co-op at least 10 times. I hope they resend the playtest email. I'd retire and move just to do this!!!! If you say you got an error message, I hate to say this, and I hope I'm wrong there was a virus going through Emails A While ago called Olimpx And it came through a email, with the subject of Xmas gift surprise, Supposedly from EA and it was supposed to disable your antivirus programs, so you couldn't remove it and it came in december, and supposedly on january 1st the next year it would "turn into an olympic torch and burn your computer." Not litterally though! When you clicked on the link, it would take you to a page saying: internet explorer can not display the webpage or something like that, But it was fake! While you were distracted by that it was, downloading olympx onto your computer, Plus, this was on one mans account of saying this so I'm probobly wrong. so don't unplug your computer, yet... Holy cow! Was so worried and sad when I didn't get an e-mail! But it never occurred to me to check my Junk Folder and I got the e-mail! :) Survey is still down though :(

It's safe. For some reason Bungie doesn't seem to use @bungie.net for most of their emails, it's always @bungie.com. But Bungie.com is still theirs, so it is safe. But the Beta tester survey isn't going to be online for a little while, and we are supposed to receive another email when it comes back on.

Bungie said the server crashed but they do not know when it will be back online.

i got the email too. and for thos worring that they reached their limit, if you notice the error page it says reason=2 if you go to reason=5 it states they have reached their max. so dont fear, we just need to wait for them to fix it.

at least ya'll got one... :( I spent 2 mo trying to sign up to actually get the confirmation e-mail and my accounts 'straight' so I could be a part of this and NOTHING... I guess because I was/am an AL hater I have been left out...LOL.
