So, why do male Halo: Reach players play using female SPARTANs?
It intrigues me. Within every single match that I play in, I always find that one player who sets his player's gender to 'female' when their GamerCard suggests that they are male. Just...why?

I use the female model because I can. Honestly, no one can stop you. (unless they come to your house and change it for you.)

I hate people who set it to female, it's just stupid. Also, most who do this suck. Bad.

some people think that the female body has a smaller hit box than male spartans even though bungie said theres no difference everyone else is just a little weird i guess

Coming from a guy that actually DOES play as a female spartan, I will tell you it is only because I do not like the bulkiness of the male spartans. The female bodys look a lot less fat and I like it a lot better.

Females are quiter when sprinting and taking damage at times, helps when trying to be sneaky.

I occasionally change my spartan to female because I prefer the lean look instead of the bulkiness of guys. I wish we had the option to choose a body type for our spartans. Besides, you know when you see those females assassinating you thing "Damn! Baby got back!"

Even though the hit boxes are the same a person will adjust their aim onto a piece of armor out of habit. This would probably help you 1 out of 100 times but every time counts. I rock female with robot arm and no other armor to look as small as possible.
