halo 3 was THE WORST halo and you are all pathetic
whenever you rant about halo reach you always bring up halo 3 like it was some god. halo 3 was the worst! what's sad is you little 12 year olds are so young and stupid you bring up halo 3 instead of halo 2 or halo ce. halo 3 was bad. why? the speed you ran at was terrible, the br spread, the hit registration, the lag. all the time hits wouldn't register, and then you're enemy would walk into the wall and then you notice one by one everybody dies and then it's black screen and you lag out.
terrible, halo 2 was so much better by miles. and you can whine all you want about halo reach, but no matter what, it can't be ANY worse than the abomination that was halo 3.
halo 3....the most useless weapons and vehicles, the spiker, the spike grenade, the prowler, the hornet? useless. equipment...useless. so when you use halo 3 as an example to bash halo reach you lose all of your credibility and reveal yourself to be a stupid 12 year old.
the only thing good about halo 3 was the custom games. specifically riding around in the warthog around sandtrap while fast zombies chased after you. but boy was the gameplay an awful piece of -blam!-

Notice that the majority of the video is the spawn weapon. That is how I love my Halo. Unlike Reach where any montage features nothing but Sniper, the only weapon in the entire game that can dazzle people. The spawn weapon in H2 had more depth, utility, and skill than any other gun in the game. Also, notice how fast you are able to resume shooting after meleeing, nading, switching weapons, and reloading. Another thing to take note of is how responsive the movement is. I know the auto-aim canceled some of the movement out, but strafing was effective. H3 and Reach have this sticky sliding movement. I just want the games to react to every button I push instead of canceling them out.

[/quote] The M6C was only useless if you played on Widescreen, because playing on Standard Screen doubled its stopping power. The Spectre was useful in the battlefield, but it was not on any single map unfortunately. The plasma weapons, while used alone may have been worthless, but used with a human weapon, they were godly. The shotgun had its uses, though. I've had plenty of success with it.

Same for hit registration, and it had a hitscan BR. In fact, halo 2 had WORSE hit registration, and the hitscan was there to make up for it. I recall most vividly this one time on relic, I pumped an entire BR clip into someone, complete with all 3 shots from the burst connecting, and the decals for bullets hitting energy shields were showing up. However, his shields weren't flaring hardly at all, and he got away. The shotgun especially. If you weren't two inches from the guy, it was worthless to use. Bubble shield wasn't useless. Instant cover is never useless. Flare sure as hell wasn't useless. It just wasn't suitable for MM. Power drain = ultimate noob combo from the seventh circle of hell Radar Jammer wasn't useless either. Same deal as the flare though. Trip mine wasn't useless, but it wasn't idiot proof either. Halo 3 was Halo 2 with a slightly less effective BR, more crap, fewer bugs, and equipment.

I sort of agree in that between halo 2 and halo 3 ODST few changes were made. Reach finally made some changes, and although not everyone agrees with me, i think it was all for the better and meant that finally you weren't buying what was, at its core, the same game all over again. The fact is, there were way more complaints when halo 3, halo 3 odst and halo 2 came out. If the game doesn't meets someone's expectations, no matter how stupid and wild they are, they have to complain about it and claim that there reason is why the game sucks. To be honest there all idiots.

Halo 2> Halo 3> Halo CE> Halo Reach> Halo ODST this is just how I feel. I don't blame OP for feeling this way because I too get angry at all of the kids that started the franchise at Halo 3 and don't know how awesome Halo CE and Halo 2 were. But i dont think halo 3 was horrible either. I just wish people knew what Halo was before it became too mainstream

I thought the campaign was boring, but everything else was fine. Seriously, why is there always a level in Halo where the Covenant are attacking a human base and they're all like "MASTER CHIEF! HELP US! WE CAN'T AIM WITH THESE GUNS!"

The only two things that pissed me off in Halo 3 was sucky hit registration and rank locks.

Even if Reach was generally considered as good as 3 (as everyone makes of it) Reach would still have a lower population compared to 3. 3 didn't have many games going against it for most of it's lifetime; Reach has TONS.

Everyone was entitled to their own opinion. Halo 2 had a lot of glitches due to it not being completely finished, while Halo 3 didn't have as much. Although I do agree that Halo 2 was better in most aspects, everyone has their own opinion.
