His helmet was off at the beginning of Halo 2. A better question would be whether or not we are ever going to see MC's face with the helmet off. I was wondering if the trailer is meant to be taken "literaly", or merely as a demonstration of the new graphics and such. Also, Has anyone given any word as to where in the game the trailer takes place, or if it is even to be in the game? It looks to me like the Chief is emerging from the wreackage of the forerunner ship, and that could mean that the beginning of the game is there, and perhapse the first mission is to kill the prophet and crash the ship. Also, now that the shroud of secrecey around the game is lifted somewhat, can we expect more details as time goes by? Or Is it all going to be kept under wraps untill the release date?

Most of yout posts come off more as "Demands" to Bungie, rather than Speculation or opinion.) thats what started The Bull--blam!- we went through last week) (which caan sound aggravating to alot of people) BTW- nothing you post offends me in anyway, i actually enjoy most of what you say. Editting some things in your post is up to you. I'm only trying to help and i 'd like to hear more of your interests in How Halo 3 is developed. And, i'd actually like to start Discussing the weekly updates in the mannaer we used to be."notice since the hassels with mods and users, we are no longer able to discuss updates from the update page. I really really miss that. and it makes it alot harder to track your own posts, cause now.....everythings discussed in the forums, and there are so many topics i posted on from updates.... and ill be damned if i can find or remember where i posted them. All life forms dont really want to die...at all......neither does Gravemind. I think he'll do what he has to to help ensure galactic destruction does not happen. I think he was put there as the ultimate protecter to ensure that the rings are activated only as an absolute last possible resort. the only ones who want the rings activated are the covenant who we already know are mislead in the ideas of thier great journey.

The one called "Steveo" is correct. There is a mention of them in the novels.

I think you should put a selector switch on the MA2B so you could switch from fully automatic "like the SMG" or three-round burst "like the Battle Rifle." [Edited on 5/13/2006]

because they think the older guns are better but they are not better than the new weapons they are stupid enough to put the sucky guns in halo1 to halo3 again but they did it because it is the last halo i read it in gameinformer

And, about the weapons, I think Frankie is making it very clear that Halo 3 will Utilize Both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 aspects in the new game. And I'm thinkin more of a P-90 Military issue Tactical Assault rifle. automatic fire with a switchable firering pin for "Single Shot" pinpoint accuracy. kinda like what they showed us in the playable multiplayer Demo...(not the ingame) where unzoomed the BR fired 3 shot bursts.....and zoomed it fired a single shot. Its obvious it was only Single shot in the "In game Demo Played at E3 for halo 2 announcement.( that was very buggy. But it worked perfectly in the Multiplayer teaser demo they showed many moons down the road. So many of us were looking foward to it and they LIED...... it did not have a single shot when the game was released......or..... maybe its a bug in Halo 2 and they wont say? who knows with Bungie.... im Sure Halo 3 will Rock and ill play it atleast as many times as i did Halo 2. and that is 1 time. I can't count the number of times i played through Halo : Combat Evolved. Cant 't count how many copies of Halo :Combat Evolvedi bought,(From burning them out due to extensive use) And i Know i've Burnt out at least 4(four) Xboxes due to extensive play of Halo : Combat Evolved.(and immediately went out and got another) Please Bungie.... i want to burn out my 360 playing Halo 3. I've only purchased 1 copy of Halo 2, If it fries on me, i dont know that i'll be compelled to buy another. It is agreat game and i willl not deny that to you, but in my opinion...Halo 3 needs alittle more of Halo : Combat Evolved in it. Or, bungie could put Halo: Combat Evolved on LIVE for Download with a very simple tunnnel application for live multiplayer......Theres rumors of that...is it true? we Know you mentioned hopefully by Summertime we will be able to download FULL ORIGINAL and MODIFIED XBOX games from live. I'm hoping thats a hint.

Wow... Finaly starting to ban Bridgers and standbyers..... Does that mean that when i get host and my phone rings it counts as standbye or does it only count Blue Screen?( I have DSL and every time my phone rings I go into horrible lag and if I have host everyone thinks I'm standbying)
