My Halo Reach Tattoo
So heres the deal. I'm currently in the US Army and am deployed to Iraq. I will be going on leave in a couple months and I have two weeks to do what ever I please. I will be getting a tattoo at the end of my leave and need some ideas for a tattoo. The idea was for it to be focused on Halo: Reach, but I am accepting ideas involving anything having to do with the Halo series. You can post links to pics of ideas you have or you can describe your idea in detail below. Thank you for your thoughts and ideas.
Post Script: If you think that I am not in the US Army or that Im not deployed than you're a moron. If you think that the US can be posted up anywhere for nearly a decade and not find a way to establish an internet connection than for one, you don't belong on Bnet. And two, your hands don't belong on that keyboard.

Oh boy. Just get a Halo t-shirt, a tattoo is an extreme thing to do. In 20 years, 10 years, heck in a year you would regret it.

The Camo AA symbol is pretty cool. Same for Drop Shield and Evade. One of those upper mid back might be cool.

Couple questions first, that I think are important and you've only touched on. 1. Where will it be located? 2. How large do you want it to be? 3. Will it be color or all black? 4. Do you want it minimalistic (more like simple symbol) or intricate (going all out)? My suggestions or agreement with other suggestions would be dependent on many of these answers. I do agree with people that it shouldn't be too Halo specific, but something that would look cool even not knowing the Halo reference. If you are asking for advice on the B.net forums about what to get then you obviously haven't thought this through very much. Just trust me on this one. Being in the Army myself, I've watched tons of soldiers (some friends and some under my command) get a tattoo and then weeks later regret it. Just last year I had a soldier start getting a tattoo removed 2 months after he got it. Just like you he hadn't given it much thought, and just "got something that looked cool" (it was a deception logo). Just do yourself a favor and wait a little while. I', assuming that you are relatively young since you are an E-4. Give it more time and thought. Also. I've seen a lot of guys come back here after R+R with new tattoos, and them get totally screwed up. The climate, sand, and lack of basics really make it hard to properly take care of it.[/quote] There's a lot that you don't know. But thanks for the advice.

The UNSC insignia, the Noble Team emblem, the Legendary difficulty symbol... all are good choices man. If you really want an awesome tattoo? Come up with your own Spartan designation (S-117, S-052, etc.) are examples, and under that have a barcode... to make it seem like you yourself, are a Spartan ;)
