Elcor in Mass Effect
If you have ever played the Mass Effect series, you know about the elcor. They're basically an elephant-like species, gray with four limbs. However they are made unique by their fascinating method of speech. They speak in monotone (one pitch of voice constantly), so they announce the emotion their voices should imply when they speak.
Here is an example:
Mild enthusiasm: I would love to attend the party.
Does anyone else share a deep appreciation of the elcor like me?

Definitely. I love the elcor. However, their speech is not [i]entirely[/i] original. There are robots from Star Wars that talk like that.
