Boneyard, Red Team, Sniper Rifle: Where is it?
Ok, this is pretty strange that I've been playing this game since release and I still don't know where some weapon spawns on maps are.
As the title says, is there a sniper rifle spawn on the Red Team side of Boneyard slayer? I'm pretty sure I've seen people sniping from the 2nd floor near the garage (above the area where a territory appears), and I doubt that they picked up the Blue side sniper and ran all the way over there.
Also, are there no top-down view of all the maps showing weapon placements and health packs? I know Bungie tends to do this for DLC maps as part of their build-up to release, but as far as I know, there are no such pictures for default maps.

The sniper does kind of blend in with the scenery a little, especially in standard definition.

I did in fact find it. I imagined it to be much further back, such as in those empty rooms on the 2nd floor of the Red side base. I don't think it's in a good spot, but what do I know, I'm no game designer...

It's right there on the port scaffold. Next to the conveyor belt thing. Not quite sure how you miss it.

This is what happens when weapons are placed in low-traffic areas. Makes me hate Big Team on Invasion maps.

Go into a custom game on that map and find it. That's how I discovered a lot of the power weapons. [Edited on 02.02.2011 2:41 PM PST]

I don't know where any of the power weapons are on these maps except for the shotgun on Spire and the Spartan Laser/GL on Paraiso.[/quote] I know what you mean. It took me forever to figure out where the Sniper was on Spire, and I only know when one of my roommates pointed it out explicitly to me. It went something like this: "Ok it spawned, come to where I am. See where it is now?!"

I mean, it would seem a little absurd only having one on the map. The way I see it, the power weapons are distributed as such: Rocket Launcher: definite Blue team advantage Sniper Rifle : definite Blue team advantage (unless Red team has one) Scorpion: meant to be even (I still think Blue team has a slight advantage though) Banshee: Red team advantage I suppose... It's why I absolutely HATE being Red team on Boneyard Slayer.
