Yeah, its confirmed. Dr. Halsey and Keyes fell in love... that led to date -blam!-... and then Miranda Keyes was born just so she could cause Master Chief problems like her father. And die in a stupid way... like her father.

Well The Fall of Reach did notify right in the beginning that Captain Keyes saw Dr. Halsey naked when coming out of the cryotube soooo.....I dunno what this means but.....w/e im dumb.

Personally, I think she is. We'll probably never know since we've never seen them interact ingame. Maybe if 343 makes Halo: Harvest, or something along that line.

She is. Just go to halopedia. It says there. She is the duaghter of Halsey. And just because she doesn't have the same last name as Dr. Halsey, doesn't mean she isn't the daughter. The child takes after the fathers last name. And Dr. Halsey and Captain Keyes were probably never married.

yep. keyes and halsey met as the spartan-II project was just starting. they met a few more times after that. but the biggest few things were: 1)halsey mentioning that she had gotten used to a girl crying at night 2)miranda inviting halsey to the ceremony where she was given a ship

Journal confirms, but it tries to almost hide it sort of. An entry about how Halsey mentions she "misses her crying at night" without refering to who her is. Also mentions Miranda changing her last name to Keyes and stuff (because apparently Halsey had custody first alone or something, idunknow) [Edited on 02.02.2011 1:08 PM PST]
