That is true but if you think about everything you know about the Prophets if you know annything (no offense) but the Prophets are very strong mentally, So they could do much damage by using their minds. Hope that clears things up for you.

Hey Rolamee you had to of read my mind man because I was thinking the same thing the whole time through the book of " First Strike" because come on if the book says MC isnt the only one and linda and Fred is it lol I forget so quckly but damnit it would be awsome if they were in Halo 2 because just think of the possibilties for levels with more than one spartan wow time to day dream ha ha lol.. thanks rolamee for letting that idea out I was going to later you rock!

Well my whole thoght of it is that sense all the new guys are coming to play with the big boys more of the story is being revealed, duh, but thats not the point. My point is that with everyone coming there might be a new linked to the past story. What past story you might ask, Marathon duh. Everything that is happining has to have a link to Marathon because everything that is happening I think is going off of Marathon if you ever read any of the old stories wich I dont feel like getting into. But what Im simply saying is that I hope everything becomes more clear in the story line that links the 2 (Halo, Marathon) together. What do you people think about it?

is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the jackals have no personallity.i mean the grunts are cowardly and cute,the hunters are big muscle,the eliets are tactical leaders and the jackals are what?scouts i hope to see some unique personallity in halo2.

just to make a correction. grace was not strangled, she was blown apart from behind with a grenade launcher that the brutes had. thats their weapn i think. Hey, anyone think that the last spartans like Linda etc. will be in halo 2? it would be a dissapointment if they werent.

As for a high five action, not only would that look retarded, it would be pointless, because you could just say nice job to them (next to you, or over Live with the comunicator). The only team morale move or just for individuals to do, would be to have a spray feature, where you can make your own logo from your PC and transfer it to your XBOX, be able to use the spray after you kill your enemy, spraying their dead corpse with your logo or team logo. That would be the ideal thing for Halo 2. There better be for Live on Halo 2, a feature where you can have your friends who are on your account with you, make their own names, instead of being a Guest of (their name). Oh and for the Covenant race, I think we will run into a few surprises along the way, new species that no one has heard of before, not even Bungie would tell us. So, keep it up Frankie, nice job, and I can't wait for Halo 2 to be in my hands.

Ahahaha![/quote] Not neccsarily true. remember that the covenant are imitative, because they just steal forerunner technologies, and also human technologies (they stole AIs). Humans, however, are innovative, so we can create new technologies, and improve on existing technology. Like in First Strike, where Cortana improved the Ascendant Justices' plasma turrets, and the sheild technology on Mjolnir. Also, humans ARE halfway decent fighters, its just that the Covenat will just glass the planet being fought over. It is my personal opinion that, while this would practically be like selling humanities soul to Satan himself (so, yeah, I wouldn't like it if this happened), humans could possibly manage to secure a position in the ranks of the Covenant, as technology developers and also as fighters if needed.

That is cool about the Covenant. However what about the FL00D. I know that the history will be revealed in the game and their ties with the forerunners. Also do they have any history with the covenant.
