It might be just me, but it seems like something is just off. Like maybe the fact that i can see people rolling and swinging their hammer much faster then should be possible.
Or that healthbars completely ruin it?
Or that it just doesnt seem fair? Like some hammers are more powerful then others?
Call me a whiner, i thought halo 3 was perfect. Now were to this. And something just seems off.

I dont really like Grifball but I dont think its broken.
-
It's the same mindless, random, repetitive, casual-focused, betrayal-filled gametype it always has been. I can't beleive they released this instead of the new Forge maps, those are actually really fun.

I'm gonna disagree with Halo 3 grifball being perfect, but it seemed a helluva lot more enjoyable than grifball in reach. I think the reason for me is that there's a lot more client-side 'trust' in reach which results in more mutual kills and stuff. The thing I liked about Halo 3 - even though I'd rarely get host - was that you could get a decent gauge on what the connection was like, and how to counter it. This took a bit of awareness and foresight to pull off, whereas Reach eliminates this altogether (which is understandable as it makes it less connection-reliant). Just personal preference I suppose. Can't seem to stand playing Reach grifball at the moment.

I somewhat agree on this. It seems that the sword isn't as powerful/ has the range that it had in Halo 3(I always use the sword in Halo 3's grifball). I don't agree on grifball, in general being broken though.

Same as halo 3's, just with evade.
-
I've definitely notice the hammers are messed up.
-
Grifball was always broken, but like everything else, Reach managed to -blam!- it up even more.
-
It does take some getting used to, but once you get used to the timing of the hammer, it's pretty good.

just you.
