was halo a book before was a game?
Im just curious as ive seen comments here and there on the forums refering to a book and just got me really curious and from what i gather its mroe detail than the games.

Well one of the books which patially helped inspire the Halo Series(Although it draws from this and soooo many other things.) is the Ringworld series by Larry Niven. Just to make sure, the books should only be read if there is actual interest in the halo universe, the books probably won't do much for people that have been playing only multiplayer since the beginning.
