How do I make teleporters so that only a specific team can go through.

I set up two teleporters on two separate channels and set one to red team and the other to blue but when I play no matter what I can still go through both teleporters

 • It kinda takes away from drawing the players toward leaving the base but I'll think of something until then CTF works really well on it. I'm going to playtest it tomorrow with more people and see what tweaks I need to make?

 • If you wanted to avoid the potential awkwardness of grav-lifts and floating platforms, you could try two, low ammo weapons, one for each team. Just a suggestion.
Posted by: Lumpy The Hippo Well the problem is I made a map that although great in concept has no middle so If I place a power weapon it is automatically weighted to one side. So what I did was create a platform in the air with a rocket on it one base grav lifts up to it the other man cannons over. Either way its a one way trip. The solution was have team specific teleporters that link back to each teams respective without that someone can just go to the faux-middle of the map grab the power weapon the go straight to the enemy base.
• Those are one way shield doors, not team specific, sorry. It could work if you used them to seal off a spawn room for a team and placed the respective teleporter in that room. The team, however, wouldn't be able to take that teleporter once they left the room.
Posted by: Sentox6 I know next to nothing about Forge, but couldn't you block off the teleporter entrance with those shield doors that only one team can go through?
[Edited on 01.15.2011 2:57 AM PST]

 • The team color doesn't affect teleporting subjects - its just a color value indicator that is useless in the case of teleporters. The best way to make a teleporter exclusive is to place it out of reach of one team, such as the ones in Hemmo that are seated atop a team's spawn/base.
