ANNO 1503 vs ANNO 1404

Did you play both games? I only played 1503 and 1701. 1701 was a terrible Anno. It had less of all and a -blam!- graphic, so we don't want to talk about it in this thread. What is better in your eyes, 1503 or 1404? I loved the huge islands and the amount of production chains you could build in Anno 1503. How big are the islands in 1404? What else is better/worse?

 •
Posted by: YahwehFreak4evr I have 1503 and 1701. 1503 is so much better, but I've barely played 1701 so I can't really say.
Thats what I would assume at first too, but I'd love to know what you like more about 1503.

 • I didn't like how it was so damn slow in 1701. . . It took forever to get the game going. [Edited on 01.02.2011 4:14 PM PST]

 • 1404 is pretty good. Though it uses a different system for Upgrading Houses. Now you can't have just all Noblemen. Oh and the Islands are very big, but the bigger islands are much rarer.
