Halo CE (PC), Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, Reach Beta.
Actually, that's for the MJOLNIR Mk VI helmet nameplate. For the HALO nameplate you need to have unlocked the Halo 1, Halo 2, and Halo 3 nameplates.
True say, the only reason why i don't use the Halo Nameplate is because my gamertag blocks half the words, sadly. :(

Wow how quick you answer I have an other question if it's not so much to ask my question is one day I was playing matchmaking and I know the nameplates you can put on your name but I've never seen a nameplate with the word "halo" I've never seen that nameplate before and for normal users it's not available so how that guy get it. Thanks

The plus signs denote fireteams. Fireteams are groups of marines that follow you through a mission and the plus sign denotes an empty space in your fireteam.

Friendly AI nearby you recruit in your pseudo squad.

At some point you can recruit marines during a mission. Those plus signs get replaced by their names.
