I demand an explanation.

He's a pimp obviously
-
He's magic
-
Because, No one can see his hidden blade.
-
'Cause he's the only guy that can pull off those white robes. And he's badass.
-
because he's just that badass.
-
Posted by: a unicorn pimp a better question is why is he wearing white? thats not very sneaky.
He actually wears the most conspicuous outfit in all of Italy.
-
So people don't find out his true identity. Like superheroes, or the guy from Prototype.
-
Posted by: RustyBeardMan Cause capes are badass.
This. Capes make everyone look awesome.
Posted by: I might kill you If you're looking for a serious answer, than here: Some of the capes have a symbol of some sort sown onto the front of them. This makes you appear as an ally to the city guards because you wear that specific symbol.
Yeah, but I don't see why he wears the blank cape at the beginning of the game. He might as well wear no cape.

ummmm..I don't know mabye its cause he kills people
-
Fashion probably.
-
Because he is a hipster.
-
Posted by: dragon60fe 'Cause he's Ezio. He doesn't need a reason.
-
I don't see why not. It's not like there are any jet planes it could get caught in.
-
Because capes are -blam!- awesome. OT: In AC2, depending on the cape Ezio wore depended on how guards reacted to him. It was to show status. Such as in Florence, with the Medici cape. He would gain no notoriety. If he wore the Auditore (spelling?), he was always notorious because the family was hung as traitors, thus making a member of the family an enemy.
-
So he can run with his feet facing outward, looking like a retarded penguin. That didn't even make sense, I just wanted to rant about the way he runs.
-
'Cause he can.
-
He r a supar heero
-
It's full of asbestos and he gives people the big C with just a swish.
-
Posted by: RustyBeardMan Cause capes are badass.
It's called the hidden blade for a reason. Whoever said something about hidden blades, since I forgot to quote. [Edited on 12.24.2010 4:08 PM PST]

Lmfao. OT: Why does Darth Vader wear a cape? Why does Dracula wear a cape? Why does Alucard wear a cape? Simply put: It's fashionable. And people wore capes then because it was fashionable, as was a sword on the hip. Also when he opened the chest that had the assassin's armour the cape was there, it's part of the outfit. EDIT: People saying 'to hide hidden blade' and 'to hide -insert item here-', please play AC1 again.
Posted by: LillithAndLuna So everyone he suprises spends their last moments thinking "lollolololol dumbass cape" and he can truly boast that he knows their last thoughts to sound badass.
[Edited on 12.24.2010 4:07 PM PST]

Why wouldn't he wear a cape
-
Everything is better with capes. Plus, hoods without capes look retarded. [Edited on 12.24.2010 3:44 PM PST]
