Okay, I have a Dazzle Capture card.. and I downloaded the drivers to get this to work, but the problem is that the drivers don't work for windows 64 bit, so I found a video that tells me to do what you said and make it compatible, so I made it so that it would be windows vista, but this error "##IDS_DIFX_X86##" comes up and stops the download.

Windows 7 has a troubleshoot addition where it allows you to choose which system the software worked for and will put the settings to match specifically for that software. For example to get my Sony Vegas 9 working i had to click trouble shoot and choose Windows XP sp3 and the settings where changed for the software and now it works fine but i still use the Win7 OS. Its a nice little feature to get around the "The software isn't compatible" problem.
