Noble 6 is a SPARTAN, why would he suddenly become an ODST!? Just because he was injured doesn't suddenly mean he has to become an ODST, it just makes no sense, the UNSC would take all the Spartans they could get, injured or not. Noble 6 died. Not only was he run through with an Energy Sword (which, btw also happened to Emile and look where that got him), even if he had survived that he had a large number of Elites to contend with, and then there's the issue of him having no helmet, on a planet with the atmosphere rapidly boiling away, and with no forms of transport for him to safely escape from, all the time whilst nursing his massive hole stuck through him with the sword. And Halsey said he was dead. I don't see how the person in the picture lacks a set appearance - seeing as you can't have a person without a set appearance. OTHERWISE THERED BE NOTHING IN THE PICTURE. Who you're calling Noble 6 looks exactly like Thom does in the Deliver Hope trailer, and Bungie have said Noble 6 looks how the player wants him to look, as the player is supposed to be the same as Noble 6. You're also saying that because they're both strong, silent types and the same height, they're automatically the same person? So this means that everyone on this world who is a strong, silent type, as well as being the same height, they too are all the same? Come on man, you're clutching at massive straws here. Your OP cites "definite proof" but all I see is foolish conjencture.

Steps by which N6 survives Elite gangbang: 1. Get stabbed. 2. Goes unconscious. 3. Elites leave, get promoted, blah, blah, etc. 4. Either wakes up and walks to nearest military outpost (or even to Blue Team at Caste Base) or is recovered by someone else. 5. Receives treatment. None of these are unlikely because even an unarmored Marine can survive an energy sword to the chest.

Simple. ONI has many secrets. Noble Six, wounded but alive, managed to find a usable transport amongst the wreckage and fled the dying planet to Earth. Arriving after The Covenant were already on the way, ONI reassigned him to an ODST squad due to his substantial injuries and the fact that most of the other Spartans were dead and he is assigned to Sgt. Buck's squad, where he is silent due to the horrific memories of Reach.

So one marine surviving one energy sword stab outweighs the other, oh I dont know, thousand that died instantly from them? How about this.
