Noble 6 talked. The Rookie didn't. The Spartan in the picture could be Thom, not Noble 6. Noble 6 looks however you want him to look, there is no canonical appearance for Noble 6. If Noble 6 and the Rookie are the same person, how are they standing next to each other? I don't stand next to myself very often. Being the same height as someone doesn't make you that person. Noble 6 died on Reach. He obviously died, anyone who says otherwise is very stupid. The Rookie was still alive after the events of Reach. If Noble 6 were alive, which he isn't, why exactly did he get demoted to a weaker ODST? Did I win?

(With the exclusion of your first point, because you're the only one with enough balls to say something that stupid) 1. One character talking and the other one not has nothign to do with anything. 2. Thom had a set appearance, which the person in the picture obviously lacks, that leaves one other person it could be. 3. See the 1000000 other comments I've made on this. 4. No, but when we have two people who both are strong, silent types and are compared constantly and now share on of the most random genetic traits, height, it starts to add up. 5. See OP, if a MARINE CAN SURVIVE AN ENERGY SWORD, why wouldn't N6? 6. so after getting stabbed by a sword, killing the other 7 or so elites around him as well as the entire covy army surrounding him he some how manages to find a ship to escape the planet(totally ignoring the fact that they said the PoA was the last ship off of the planet). He makes it back to earth and his prize for doing all of this is to be stripped of his spartan status and be demoted about 7 ranks from leutinent to lance corporal. yeah that is definatly what happend. P.S. what other "proof" is their in the game that this is the same person P.S.S. in an earlier post you said the picture wasnt cannon and yet you use it as evidence of simialr height? Also, a ODST cannot become a spartan, and a spartan would not disgrace himself and join the ODST. Your theory is invalid.

Noble 6 is a SPARTAN, why would he suddenly become an ODST!? Just because he was injured doesn't suddenly mean he has to become an ODST, it just makes no sense, the UNSC would take all the Spartans they could get, injured or not. Noble 6 died. Not only was he run through with an Energy Sword (which, btw also happened to Emile and look where that got him), even if he had survived that he had a large number of Elites to contend with, and then there's the issue of him having no helmet, on a planet with the atmosphere rapidly boiling away, and with no forms of transport for him to safely escape from, all the time whilst nursing his massive hole stuck through him with the sword. And Halsey said he was dead. I don't see how the person in the picture lacks a set appearance - seeing as you can't have a person without a set appearance. OTHERWISE THERED BE NOTHING IN THE PICTURE. Who you're calling Noble 6 looks exactly like Thom does in the Deliver Hope trailer, and Bungie have said Noble 6 looks how the player wants him to look, as the player is supposed to be the same as Noble 6. You're also saying that because they're both strong, silent types and the same height, they're automatically the same person? So this means that everyone on this world who is a strong, silent type, as well as being the same height, they too are all the same? Come on man, you're clutching at massive straws here.
