Halo Reach Honestly Sucks and Doesnt Deserve Any Awards
Halo Reach has to be the biggest let down for this year, I'm glad its dying. It was dumbed downed for the noob community for Halo 3 and now for new players. Those two groups have ruined halo for the Halo 2 and 1 veterans. I don't care if you say you've seen plenty of these threads and i don't care if you report me. I don't care if you say i hope the door hits when you walk out. I don't care for anyone that doesn't have the sense that Halo Reach sucks.

I find it funny how all of you base your whole entire opinion on a game because of its multiplayer. And really, the last few GOTY's didn't even have one.

Halo 2 had an excelent story and cliffhanger. Master Chief's epic exit of the scarab, all Srg. Johnson moments, the seperation of Chief and Cortanna, seeing the Ring in action, seeing the Covenant side of things, etc. Reach to me had the best campaign gameplay. Halo 3 had the best multiplayer. But after 3 years I don't want more of the same I wanted something new and different. [Enter Reach] Combat from a Spartan-3's point of view and the cool tech that was obliterated on Reach. Maps are amazingly beautiful and vast.

[/quote]Halo 2's multiplayer was absolutely non-enjoyable, thats my opinion and I'm not trying to change yours about it. But how could you like campaign? First off, I know the arbiter's story was important but I hated those parts. And most of the time it was boring, my thoughts where, "hey look another alien, ok it's dead now i'm bored again..." It didn't make me want to follow it too much, and the ending was terrible. Bungie should have never ended with a boss fight, no, no, no and more no. Also, when he started to activate the ring, I just thought, "Kay, now I have to fight the albino monkey? Lame." Lastly there wasn't even a good cliffhanger, he it said the rings could be activated all at once and chief was on that ship back at earth. Besides the "Finishing the fight." comment and the "activate all the rings at the arc." Sentence. Halo could have ended right there saying earth was crushed and humans where wiped out. I skipped ODST completely and retried Halo with Reach. I liked Reach a bit but I am more inclined to more strategic shooters like Bad Company 2 and Team Fortress 2. There difference is how we get our point across, you come off as you come off and I say it just as I said it in a prior portion of this reply.
