Posted by: TOMTOM141117 they have one more year halo ce was released in 2001
Your argument is invalid, you are not calculating production time.
-
Not completely right. They started the contract in 2000. Like mid 2000 I think, not entirely sure. Just cause they had a 10 year contract and the first game was in 2001 doesnt mean they started in 2001.
-
Because they failed at making a game better than the original three straight times...
-
overdone. I would not be able to handle another Halo. I just wouldn't buy it.

halo combat envolved was released i 2001 so they have been doing it for nine years
-
It's not theirs to make anymore.
-
They wanted to move onto other games.
Posted by: hadlermaster They've been doing it for 10 years already. It's time for them to move on.
This. Its on to bigger and better things now.

Bungie had a 10 year contract w/ Microsoft. They don't want to continue because they feel like they ended in a good place and want to leave it. Of course Microsoft won't do that, and the series will either remain fine, or be destroyed my 343 (microsoft sub company). it's a wait and see type of situation.

Why does anyone do anything?
-
Its old for them now and micorsoft owns the rights to the game so if they say no, they cant make a game =(
