Why do I always get teamed up with miraculously retarded people?
Every single game, I am unable to find a competent teammate. They're always complaining about something dumb on the map, crouching halfway across the map where [i]nothing[/i] is happening, crouching invisible halfway across the map where [i]nothing[/i] is happening, or running out into the open, spraying their Assault Rifle at anything that moves.
I try to honk my horn on the Warthog, ushering people to get on, or try to get my teammates in the Falcon, but instead, four people rush the Sniper at the same time, and the other three are AFK, one of which who quits halfway through the match, and one of the sniper-rushers quit because he didn't get "his" sniper.
I've got annoying squeakers betraying me for "their" precious vehicles, weapons, flags, and even god damn [i]areas[/i]. So, this rock is YOUR sniping post? Wow. Why not try the 300 other ones scattered around Hemorrhage? Wait, this is YOUR Warthog? What about the one two feet to the left? Oh my, I'm sorry. I must've killed 7 blues, hijacked a Wraith, blown up two Warthogs and carried this flag across the map [i]on foot, all alone[/i] just for [i]you![/i] Go ahead, betray me with your Shotgun or Rockets and take the flag six feet inside the base so you can score. Such team effort!
Not to mention the incompetent idiots in Invasion. Yeah, we might have five Elites sneaking up the cliffside stairs, but one might come out the other side! You better deal with those five, Orphan, because [i]us five[/i] got [i]these[/i] stairs.
Good luck! Oh, and you can probably deal with them constantly spawning fifteen feet from Objective Bravo, we have better things to attend to, like looking out for the Elite AFK behind the crate way over there.
Multi-team time! Nothing like a good cess pool of chaos and terror. Ooh, Crazy King! I'll try to get the points for our team so you can camp next to this door with the Shotgun, in case [i]somebody[/i] might wander around to this miserable little corner of the map. I'm good, getting destroyed by grenades, or getting sandwiched by two reds and a green with Assault Rifles.
This isn't a complaint against Bungie. It's a call-out to YOU, community. Stop being a dumbass. Be a team player. Stop AFKing, stop rushing the Sniper, and hop in my Warthog so we can knock some heads, murder innocent children, and score the flag, k?

Because what's left of the population are people that enjoy Reach. The only people that can find joy in this game are disabled. Any rational Halo fan has stopped playing this game.

OP, I totally agree, the majority of the community I've seen is -blam!-, total -blam!-. And for those who say roll with a full team, that is not always possible (unless you actually believe people are on at two in the morning who want to play with you.)

Easiest fix, that others have said before me, is to search with a party you know and trust. Otherwise you end up in games like [url=http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/GameStats.aspx?gameid=352081129&player=UEG%20PaniK]this[/url], where you search in 2's and the other two guys quit out on you, dooming you to a loss and ruining your rating for that game.

I don't know, I seem to be in constant pain of it. LET'S ALL GRAB AR'S!!!! *Dun dun dun dun!!* Everyone but me charges out with an AR and starts firing dramatically at the enemy formation they can't see. I have attained a sniper rifle in my hands from killing a dead enemy. My team, fires blankly with their pro AR skills, and within a moment gets cleared in an instant when the enemy team becomes coordinated and they start picking up DMR's.

im a reasonable player at best , neither best nor worst at any given moment. though somegames i do have an impressive lead over other people, other times im basically teabagged to timbuktu and back. and i accept that not everyone on my team is an incarnation of John 117 and they can do as many silly things as they like unless it starts getting me killed. I dont betray team members on purpose although i have been booted for the same person happening to run right ontop of my grenades a few times. inexperienced/bad players are not so much of a problem its people who will actively bend you over on the same team because its not going their way "my sniper.. shot shot..norly mine /betrayal". the number of negative scores via betrayals ive seen in the past few weeks has been depressing.

There are separate playlists for those if thats what they want. I only have one friend on my friends list that plays Reach so its not like I can just choose to play with a full party. To be fair though I'd say about 10 to 20% of the people I play with are good players that support the team and aren't likely to blindly boot you for an obviously accidental betrayal. Hey, maybe we'll run into each other online and I can back you up!

Anyway, I'm sick of people doing this and generally don't betray my team as i'm a team player, but if someone shoots me to kill me, he's going down! I just know that I may not be the best player around, but i'm one of them as I help my team, if my team-mate gets the flag all the way to the base them dies, and spawns right next to me, i'll pick it up and place it near him, as he did the work.
