Cortana should not be naked!
In the books it states that AIs pick their clothes. Cortana doesn't have any. Is it rampancy? Does she like the cool breeze?

She says that she is please that Cortana didn't go with something flashy, like Beowulf or the other AI's. It's not rampancy, couldn't be if she was like that from the beginning. Well since she doesn't have a solid body they wouldn't be considered cloths, more of a corporeal form that appears to be "covered".

I think all the book AI's are freakin' dumb. They should all be like cortana, maybe like in different colors and hairstyles? Yeah, no more old chinese lady.

Actually what i noticed is that certain parts of her are naked. Look for the patterned part of her; those are her clothes.

Anyways, cortana's form doesn't have much for clothing less voluminous than a tent to cover, and she seems to be efficient and minimalist.

Cortana does not have an actual body or form, and therefore does not require clothes, if that is/isn't what they were.

AIs choose their own Avatar, not only their clothes. -_- She chose a female form with no clothes and no details either, just algorithms representing her current processing covering her form. As for why, well the same reason I would if I were a sentient-super computer. Because she bloody well can. :P

She is naked as she opens her to the world. However she is no truly naked, which is good, as it would just vulgarize the game and severely damage her character. That and she is unique.
